Quote:Uh, Manziel also plays in an Air Raid while those two were in pro-style offenses under center. Brees played over a decade ago and Wilson completed 73% of his passes at Wisconsin.
uhhh name any qb in an air raid offense with better completion percentage than manziel. his accuracy is not a concern.

Uhhh that's not the point, kid. You were implying that Manziel was as accurate of a passer as Brees or Wilson by listing their completion percentages, but it's a terrible comparison. Kellen Moore and Colt McCoy had similar completion percentages while playing in spread offenses. College statistics for QBs need to be taken with a grain of salt.
I didn't watch Brees in college, but Wilson was a more accurate thrower than Manziel coming into the draft. But yeah, Manziel's arm strength is more of a concern than his accuracy.

tolzien had the same % the year before wilson went to wisconsin. not sure if its the same offense/coaches and wilson before wisconsin had a college career comp % below 60. colt mccoy and moore had high comp % but low ypa, manziel has high comp % and high ypa.
You're witnessing the argument against Manziel right now by the way. Every flaw wide out in the open in that first quarter.

It's been worse than that even. Happy feet in the pocket, dropping eye level, missing wide open throws, batted pass at LOS, and took a couple big hits cause he won't slide. Manziel was horrible against LSU last year too though so maybe they just have the formula perfected...much like Stanford with Oregon's offense.
having a nice drive so far

20 yard far sideline pass to a wiiiiiiide open WR and the ball took forever to get there, pass interference against Evans the god, and a scramble where he could have gotten OOB easily but instead took a big unnecessary hit....raise your standards. The skinny post to Labhart was the only positive play he's made from an evaluation standpoint.
Oh and another big hit when he could have easily slid...good god no thanks. He has no brain.

yeah that pass took forever. but that 3rd and 7 throw was impressive. dude needs to slide, hes taking alot of hits. my opinion of him is still late first/early 2nd
wide open miss
And the Houston Texans select, Franchise Killer out of TAMU, Johnny MANZIELLLL!
Should've been a TD.....dropped routine catch in the end zone. This is a good test for Johnny. Can he handle adversity when things are going against him?

hes done that all season. that was a terrible sack
He's on par with Doug Flutie....flash in the pan. Wait till he meets up with a NFL defensive gameplan going against players every bit as quick as him....they'll destroy the leprechaun.
Watched Bridgewater today, watching LSU and Texas A&M now....
Gotta' stick with Mettenberger, Murray or Shaw.
Just like the way Mettenberger plays the game.
Impressive 2 minute drill
He won't find NFL cb's maling that kind of mistake...more luck than skill in Johnny football's game.
Meanwhile Brett Smith the guy I've told y'all actually is what everyone wants Manziel to be has 597 yards and the game isn't over.
