Quote:Knarnn, this is your loyalty, these are your words! By your own admission you capitulate and have written our franchise off as you move onward to London.

Leave the Teal nation please. We will survive without you. You do not understand what Stand United means.

And your last post should be your last on this topic because you were taken to the woodshed and beaten badly.
You gonna tell that to Mark Brunell as well? He wasn't being "controversial". Everybody knows that old number 8 speaks from his heart. Imagine that? The guy that led us to two AFC Title games also thinks that Khan is moving the team...eventually. (what's that supposed to mean?)

I guess the nay-sayers missed the Yahoo Sports article describing Khan as a huge Anglophile. He has a lot of explaining to do when literally none of the UK media even bothered to write much about the game. Didn't even move the needle.

Quote:You later claimed this quote after you were called out on it for being a coward and not signing your name to it when you posted it. Since you did claim what have you and "we" done to make it work in Jacksonville? Also who is this "we " you are taking the liberty to speak for but yet not have the courage to sign your name to. Coward. I am not calling you names I am accurately describing you.

That's all you got? the London games? Not only are you a coward you are an idiot, again, only accurately describing you according to your posts. The London games are expanding our brand and making us a greater franchise. Are the owners of the Giants , 49ers, Steelers, and Vikings just to name a few not committed to their communities because they have played London games? The London games are making this franchise more profitable which in turns solidifies our future in Jacksonville. If you do not understand this basic business concept you will never get it. Sit back and wait for the winning years and then you may rejoin the bandwagon. Our dire franchise needs Special Forces caliber fans not the common foot soldier who will turn his back when he misses a meal.

Quote:Never did Khan promise we would not play a game in London. Again your posts are trash. You must like the woodshed beatings...
Seriously dude, let it go. I won. I slaughtered your entire premise.

Want to know when you destroyed someone's ego? Because they keep wanting to go at it. I need a new challenge JagsQuest and you aren't it. Good night bro I'm going to bed.

If old # 8 speaks from the heart so sincerely then why did he backslide and present an apology?

I have no problem with Khan liking Europe. I really like his ideas of cross pollinating Fulham Football club with the Jags. Should be some great synergy.

Good night Knarnn, fun sparring with you, until next time. I get a little passionate sometimes. My apologies on the name calling but I stand behind my content.

Quote:You'll never hear it.  He'll move the team in a heartbeat when the time is right to cash in.  There's only one reason to be that non-committal.

Ah, another guy who really knows.

Like with Knarnn, you must want Khan to come to your home and pat you on the head and tell you it'll be ok.

Khan has made it clear - he'll do his part and the fans need to do theirs. To expect more just makes you seem childish and insecure.

You're such a deck. When Khan moves the team you'll be in the corner sucking your thumb like the little baby you are

Shad is in his 60's and the team is pretty much locked in for another 14 years. There is a chance when the team could be serious about moving that boy wonder Tony K is in charge.

I doubt it. Khan man is doing his job ever so nicely and a couple dummys parrot everything he says as gospel. It really is a joke like Adam and quest
Again with the evil Khan conspiracy crap. Why don't you bigots just out yourself and quit asking for unequivocal statements about the future of the franchise? Support it and you don't have to worry your tiny bigoted minds about it.

You sound really bright.

Why are these people even claiming to be Jag fans Jagwired? I do not get it. Even when presented with concrete answers they manufacture conspiracies when all Khan has ever done is try to make the franchise stronger. Making the franchise stronger is good for the city of Jax not bad.

They are basically calling Khan a liar and a scumbag while he has NEVER lied to us and continually works to make our community better.

It is very simple. Support our franchise and all is good. Do not support it and we are no different then any other city and will suffer the consequences.

Probably the same guys that troll every Jaguar story on the Times-Union website.

I get what you are saying T buns but the TU is way less negative than these conspiracy mongers. They literally have the mentality of an abused dog. It is almost like they want the Jags to leave instead of fighting for them just so they can say they were right. Can you imagine having to go to war with some of these trolls? Frag city.

Thanks for the childish response. There, there, it'll be ok.
I really think Khan's doing you guys right, myself.

Can you point to one comment Khan has made that was disingenuous?

As someone who has admittedly been skeptical of Khan since he bought the team, I've been very alert to how he has presented his position, and then I've watched his actions to see if there's an variance between what he says and does.  I can't say as I've seen him flat out lie once in the past couple of years.  So, when these people you refer to as "dummys" are parroting everything he says as gospel, can you point out where they've been proven wrong?  Or would that kind of deflate your entire conspiracy theory to begin with?

People want him to show by action that he's committed to Jacksonville.  I'd say he's sinking enough money into projects with the stadium as well as elsewhere in the community to make it clear he's willing to invest as a way of showing he's committed to the city.  He's said repeatedly that he has no intentions of moving the team.  There's nothing to indicate he's not being genuine in that statement.

However, if the fans don't support the team, and don't buy the tickets or merchandise, he has every right to find a market that will support them.   But, that's not happening here.  So, aside from the team leaving because there's no fan support in Jacksonville, what has he done to help fuel your conspiracy theory that he's simply conning the city and the fans?  Because of his unsavory business practices elsewhere in his professional life?  Because from all indications, Khan is a guy who is a man of his word.  He's well respected globally.

So, again I ask, what has he said or done that convinces you he's just biding his time here with plans in place to move the team that are already in motion?

We're talking about the same UK media that barely covered the other NFL game that was played over there?  You do understand that they're in the middle of the English Premiere League season, right?  And that's as big in England as American football is here in the US, if not bigger?

Oh no! Yahoo sports wrote an article calling Khan an anglophile!  I believe they referenced his Pakistani heritage too!  Should we be worried he'll move the team to his homeland too?  You're reaching.  Khan didn't have any explaining to do.  85k attended the game.  Tens of thousands of American football fans attended the fan rally.  What the press reports on has little to do with whether the game was a successful endeavor for the Jaguars.  All indications are the team and the city both benefited greatly from the exposure provided by playing in London.

As far as your dear St. Mark is concerned, I guess the fact that he came back two days later and apologized for the statement he made on ESPN, and said very succinctly on his local radio show later that week that what he said was a mistake shouldn't be taken into account, right?  I mean, he's a man of integrity who was caught off guard by a question, answered it incorrectly, then later retracted it.  So, was he telling the truth before or after?  If he lied either way, what credibility does he have?  What insider information could he possibly be privy to considering he only recently became affiliated with the organization again after being gone for longer than he played here?

I just hope we keep Gabbert and Poz for another year so we can watch those good looking handsome devils on the gigantic jumbotron.

I'm just thinking if I decided to to go gay I'd enjoy our team much better.

This season is really taking its toll on me !!

My God, no one knows the future.  All we can go by is what Khan does up until this point and time.  For those who think Khan is moving this team, anything he does will be considered chump change because he is a billionaire.  He has done more for/with this team in the last year and a half then Weaver did his last 5-8 years owning the team.  Do I think Khan is trying to make it work here?  Yes.  Do I think he will move the team if we don't support it over a period of time?  Possibly yes, but only if the team is doing decent to well and we don't support it.  What Khan has said multiple times is he is committed to making it work here in Jacksonville.  Which means he and the fans have to both do their part.  So far, both have done their part minus Khan having a winning team.  Khan hasn't said the team is staying here no matter what because then that would be a lie.  It isn't difficult to understand.  He wants to make it work here, is trying to make it work here and believes it will make it work here.  But he isn't going to keep the team here if we over a stretch of time make Everbank a ghost town.
