Quote:You gonna tell that to Mark Brunell as well? He wasn't being "controversial". Everybody knows that old number 8 speaks from his heart. Imagine that? The guy that led us to two AFC Title games also thinks that Khan is moving the team...eventually. (what's that supposed to mean?)

I guess the nay-sayers missed the Yahoo Sports article describing Khan as a huge Anglophile. He has a lot of explaining to do when literally none of the UK media even bothered to write much about the game. Didn't even move the needle.

Mark Brunell didn't say what came from his heart.  He was trying to be an ESPN guy.  He apologized and said he would never let that happen again.  Nice try.
Quote:Seriously dude, let it go. I won. I slaughtered your entire premise.

Want to know when you destroyed someone's ego? Because they keep wanting to go at it. I need a new challenge JagsQuest and you aren't it. Good night bro I'm going to bed.

Is this your goal in posting?

So if the Jags are here in 2 more years, then what?

Not at all.

For the record I hope the Jags are here two years from now and until forever. I will say I'm not totally sold on Khan. Even you agree that there is a chance the team may eventually relocate IF the fans don't do their part and that is what brings on my paranoia.

If you worked for a company for 18+ years and all of a sudden you found out that the company was bought by some rich mogul who has no ties to said company or the area in where its located. You know that there is a chance that they may decide to outsource your entire department even though you've met and exceeded every quota that was asked of you. The owner hasn't sent you an email stating that its NOT POSSIBLE , he instead sent an email stating that he will TRY to make it work and keep your department intact.

That wouldn't make you think long and hard about what's really going on?

I hope for the long haul we do our part and that's enough to sway Khan's decision in our favor.

But what if its not? That's what really irks me.

Khan had ties to the area. So you are already off on the wrong foot.

Serious question.

How?

The now defunct automotive plant?

The floating mansion parked on the St. John's river?

Did it hurt when you pulled this out of your rear end?

See. You don't even know. And yet you try to sound so knowledgeable when you post on here. But you have no clue.

Nice rebuttal (pun intended)

Now, all jokes aside did you want to contribute to the discussion or is that all you got?

I asked you to inform me. I don't know what you're referring to seriously. I want to be wrong, especially about this.

For someone so knowledgeable about Khan I am surprised you don't know.

Are we going to keep playing this game?

I'll ask again, what are you referring to? I don't know. Dead serious.
Quote:Guys, I don't think you're relocating. You seem to have an owner that's pretty committed If i ever saw one.

I've been saying the same thing for 19 years but no one ever seems to believe me.  Glad you get it at least, good work!

The first large contract his company landed was almost 30 years ago with Southeast Toyota in Jacksonville. He's been doing business here since the mid 80's.

To what "ties" are you referring?

Wow, all that time and he never even went to a football game!  What a fan Laughing

Isn't that what I posted? And here I was thinking you were going to drop some new knowledge on me.

I was born in New York and moved to Jax when I was 5. I'm now 26. What real ties do I have to New York?
Quote:"I've been very clear from the day that I came here we're doing everything we can to make the team fit in Jacksonville," Khan said. "I said that over and over again. Deeds not words are what's here. So look at actions. They speak a lot louder than words." - Shad Khan

Make the Team fit in Jacksonville?  This is not a 1-2 year old team. The team already fits. SMH

I mean since that's like practically the same thing...

Another cryptic response from a white or black question.

"Council members at Thursday's meeting did want to hear about from Khan himself that the team is going to stay in Jacksonville and not move to London."

Khan's response:

"I've been very clear from the day that I came here we're doing everything we can to make the team fit in Jacksonville," Khan said. "I said that over and over again. Deeds not words are what's here. So look at actions. They speak a lot louder than words."

Or you could have just said yes or no.

City council: Khan, do you have any plans to move this team?

Khan: No.

It was that simple but instead he decides to tip toe and spin around the very simple question.

But I'm the one who's going overboard. Go figure.
