Sounds like Incognito has been making Martin give up his lunch money...

Quote:I actually think Philbin has done an admirable job since becoming head coach. The Dolphins are not a bad team.

The Dolphins do not lack talent. Difference. I think Philbin is a horrible head coach.....from the lack of command of the locker room to his mis-utilization of his own talent as recently exampled with Lamar Miller losing out on carries to the far less superior Daniel Thomas, to his foolishly abandoning the running game vs the Patriots when it was working and they were dominating that game which led to them squandering the big lead and ultimately losing what would have been a huge win.

Philbin is a clown. Thank God the Jags never were interested there.

Quote:Riley Cooper was involved in a racial controversy this year.  I'm sure there were some locker room repercussions we never heard about.

Does that make Chip Kelly someow other than a strong football coach?

The 2 situations are not really comparable. One happened on team facilities and one did not.

But to be honest, the jury is still out on Chip Kelly. I certainly liked him as a coaching candidate, but the results have been mixed at best, so far.

Keep it classy Richie.

Cooper's racial controversy was calling a couple of bouncers a derogatory term as a result of being denied backstage access at a concert. That's a little bit different than referring to your own teammates as one amongst other things. Neither are right, but the two situations aren't really comparable.
I bet this is more common than people imagine. Just a guess here, but I'd bet that it happens on both sides in the Dolphins' locker room. It'd explain why Incognito was OK with saying it in the first place and why no one in the Dolphins stood up for Martin.

That was my thought, not saying it's right but probably hearing part of locker room trash talk.

I know I've said plenty of things to my closest friends sometimes joking sometimes in anger I'd never want published. No excuse he crossed plenty of lines and will soon be unemployed, just wonder whats the other side of the story?
Quote:What a mess this is.

What a mess ALL the Florida NFL teams are.

Do I think hazing happens in the NFL, sure.  Do I think it happens to this extent? Nope.

I also dont think Incognito was the only one that had a hand in it.  He may have been the ring leader, but for this to happen this long, other guys let it happen.

I'd be surprised if he was the only one. I just wonder why pick on Martin?

Yeah, you can bet there were others. They were enjoying those trips and dinners as well.
Incognito is pure garbage, he was kicked of Oregon and suspended from Nebraska twice, voted dirties player in the NFL in 2009 and 2nd dirties player this year, throw this fool out the NFL.

Because he's smart, non-confrontational, and Incognito's jealous.

It's the classic bully tale.

If it were not for financial/salary cap reasons he would have already been sent packing. If he plays in the league again it will dispel any notion that the league is trying to protect it's players. He is done in the NFL and should be. All others involved as well.

Incognito is trash.  Hope he never sees another NFL locker room.

Didn't know all that about him, what a track record, yikes.
PFT is saying Incognito might have been told by the Dolphins coaching staff to toughin up Martin and the calls were left after Martin didn't come to two of the "voluntary" workouts, WOW

This is about to blow up in Miami's face.

The Jaguars should bring in Incognito to follow Blackmon around, make sure he lives the life of a monk for his future NFL career.

Can't we focus on the real controversy? MJD suckerpunched a bouncer
