The more that comes out, the worse that Incognito and the organization looks.

Quote:No sir, there was never an answer to the question.
You just didnt want to see the answer.

I really should hold off on comments like this til all was said and done.

Incognito has texts from Martin in similar fashion to ones he sent and voice mails that were saved by Martin. Reportedly has one from Martin just the day before telling Incognito that he would "murder his family".

None of those are answers to the question posed. I should have known better.

Again, its answers that dosen't satisfy you.
Quote:Sorry, but just because somebody doesn't fit a prescribed mold doesn't make them wrong. I don't have the facts in front of me like you must have, but I'd say Martin figured he'd have anything but a good time with Incognito and his posse and would probably be pressured to put up even more $ once they got going in Vegas... IMO he finally grew a pair and decided enough was enough...
I suspect you're right. If Martin already was the low guy on the totem pole there was no way they wouldn't take advantage of that when in Las Vegas. He'd have been lucky to get out of there without going bankrupt.
Excellent article from Jason Whitlock on this whole mess±

I read that article. Nice to read a different take on the whole thing...

To be honest, both Incognito and Martin are at faults.  Incognito is a thug with a rap sheet.  He went too far.  There's no defending what he did. Martin, on the other hand, is to blame for letting it get out of hand.  Sure, Martin can be the quiet and nice guy that doesn't fit into the norm of the NFL locker room.  But he also has to present himself appropriately, meaning don't let anyone walk all over him.  He didn't have to change who he is even if it means he didn't fit in with the group, but at the same time, don't show any weakness.   The moment that a quiet person show any weakness is when bully like Incognito will take advantage of it.

To me, this is the strangest situation I've ever see in my life.  I do think Incognito will have a better chance of playing for another team, but I can't imagine any locker room will accept Martin again, regardless of the outcome of this situation.

Well it looks like Martin will no longer be a Dolphin after this season. With everything that has happened with this, would you guys want to pick him up? Either move him back to his more natural RT spot, or have him compete for a guard spot? He is a young player with a lot of promise.

His off the field stuff seems like something that can be overcome.

If he can run block effectively in a ZBS - I'd like it.

No surprise.

If this is enough for him to quit a team, he was probably going to quit anyway.

I don't see him joining another team, either.
I wouldn't want him, but I wouldn't be up in arms about it either.
I think Martin went looking for Manti Teo's girlfriend.

I dont know what else I could say to satisfy you. I said the Dolphins locker room is confused by electing Incognito as a "Honorary Black Man", and you say they are not confused.

Simple as that.

Stanford ran a ZBS when he was there, I wouldn't be upset if they took a look at him at LG.

Joeckel - Martin - Draft (Stork?) - Uche - Pasztor
