If it's true he asked Incognito to motivate Martin to participate in voluntary workouts I'd be surprised if he finishes the season, that's a BIG no no according to the new CBA

I think there is no doubt about that

I read an article where Martin went to a private school his whole life and then to Stanford. He has always been around the "preppier" type of people and the NFL was a bit of an eye opener. His high school coach said he could even understand why he may be picked on.
I'm not saying in any way what Incognito did was the right way to go about it, not even close.....if someone came to me and said toughen this kid up, it would be done in practice, push him harder, rough him up a bit and hope he can get that edge to him.
Nevermind, I change my mind. Asking Incognito to do anything is stupid. The guy is a grade a jerk and will be in jail within 5 years.

Wasn't surprised how the media has jumped all over this story. Bullying is such a hot topic, and now you have this happening (which may or may not be "bullying" by your definition).
I have a feeling this topic will be talked about by the commentator and will dethrone the "targeting" topic

More like strong-arm robbery at Incognito's age...

With the amount of Dolphins players who are siding with Incognito, I wonder if Martin just couldn't handle the pressures of the NFL and finally snapped.

I love how some of the Dolphin players are sticking up for Incognito trying to say the right things.
He is a raging racist who deserves to lose everything he has worked for.

Everyone should stop jumping to conclusions. We're still not aware of the full details of this story, just how many more players might have been involved, and whether or not if the coaching staff may have had something to do with it.

Exactly. Every day seems to bring up an angle that puts a new slant on things.
Let's wait until all the facts are in and we've heard from all the principle parties.

Not surprised the Dophins players took Incognito's side. It's about the team, and one guy left the team. That same guy then made allegations that forced another player, who, though a bully is a popular one, off the team.

Offer the dolphins a 6th or 7th round pick for Martin, heck the kids talented and it's obvious he needs a change of venue. to bad the trade deadlines past would've been nice to evaluate him the 2nd half of the season.

Probably because if they stick up for him and shrug it off as not being as bad as they say...they don't look like complete [BAD WORD REMOVED] hats for sitting around and doing nothing while all of it was going on.

Looking at it that what, they are in a no win situation. Based on the interviews I have seen and read, they are pretty adamant with their stance and not looking to protect anyone, including themselves. But I can see the point made.
The dynamics of a locker room are different. I don't know how to put it. It's just different. Things are said that don't get spoken anywhere else. Things are allowed that wouldn't be allowed elsewhere. The locker room is just different. It's so hard for me to explain, but so easy for me to understand.
Here's one of the more recent articles on this. http://espn.go.com/blog/miami-dolphins/p...for-martin

I will say this, I think Incognito went overboard when trying to get money from Martin. I wish Martin would have just stood up and punched him in his mouth.

He's now known as a quitter and a rat. Players are sticking up for Incognito because of that.

Some are trying to say the right things + Some are misguided = majority confused locker room.
