Quote:Yeah I am being serious.  Trust me, the way you feel about players has no influence whatsoever on the way I feel about players.

I think it is funny you talk about Lewis like he is garbage, but then start a thread that says trade him for draft picks.

Cute emoticon.

pick.....as in singular 5th rounder.

I now think Trent Richardson is garbage and the Browns got a 1st for him....
Quote:MD will be miraculously healthy and will contribute to GB if he is traded there.
Winner winner, chicken dinner!

Stupid Irsay, why didnt he listen to you?

The Browns traded last year's 3rd overall pick for what will likely be a 25th-32nd pick next year.

So essentially, the Colts got a RB of such caliber that they would never be able to get with a late 1st.

But whatever, keep acting like the.trade know it all.
Quote:The problem with your logic is you think other teams will make stupid moves. The Roy Williams trade was incredibly stupid, as was the Mike Thomas trade.

Those type of trades shouldnt be used as reference points.

Thank you. Especially not when used to predict future moves by a very smart Green Bay front office. TMD doesn't understand this.
Quote:Noting that once upon a time a team did something stupid does not = a good chance we can find someone to do something stupid again. Its not impossible, but its unlikely and therefore not something you can use to judge a GMs performance as it is reliant on another team doing something totally stupid.

Nobody has stated in this thread that they want to keep Lewis, I am willing to bet everyone on here would be happy with any pick for Lewis. You are just trying to save face in a losing argument.

Boom! D6 and Mr Sensible: 1. TMD: A lot less than 1.

It is the assumption upon which this entire stack of cards argument is based.

Other assumptions:

Caldwell is not fielding nor soliciting trade offers from other teams for our veterans

Caldwell has a "no trade" list, which includes MJD

Green Bay actually wants an injury-prone TE named Marcedes Lewis in the first place

Any team wants an injury-prone TE named Marcedes Lewis in the first place

Foolhardy trades are the norm, not the exception

The fact that we are the worst team in the NFL somehow puts Jax in a position of bargaining power
I don't see anybody giving up any draft picks for a guy that has grossly underperformed his contract and has only played in one game this year -- a game in which he had one catch.

Not going to happen, unfortunately.

I just like to quote posts that bury this fool. Don't mind me.

I think TMD gets burried in 98% of his posts, but he acts like he has some sort of following.

Think Will Ferrell streaking scene in Oldschool.

Somethin like that.

Wrong. But that never stopped you before...

Honey do you think KFC is still open.

Its actually 99%.

Maybe we can get the mods to post TMDs picture in the banner.  He'd get the attention he seems to need and we wouldn't have to see any more of his "look at me" posts.

Right.

Thats why you chose to respond to the only non football related post ive made in this thread.

Nice 5 year old level response.

AT least half of your posts usually deal with some sort of non football/ poster issue crap. Half.

Almost all of my posting is Jags football related. Maybe a fringe 1% of it is posts like this responding to a yokel whose hurling insults.

The whole point of this thread is for you to build a case against the Jags front office.

Again.

Again.
Atleast half his posts. Half.

Um, no. It isn't. Really....its not.

If I wanted to do that I'd just make a post clearly stating that intention directly in the post and have at it. Its not like I haven't done that before.

You are being paranoid.

Just quotin' you, quotin' him.... :whistling:

I see what you did there.

Oh, and you will again.

And when you do, you will cite Caldwell's refusal to trade Lewis as exhibit A.  Even though it never happened.
