Quote:1. Why is Denard Robinson still employed? I feel like we have nothing behind Yeldon and Ivory (and not too much with either of those 2). I'm getting tired of seeing teams with their 3rd string running back kicking butt.

2. Hackett is a hack. Play calling is terrible. If you go for it on 4th and 9, you better have something better than a 5 yard pass. Offense is still limping like a crippled beggar.

3. The positional coaches are not doing their jobs. I think there is enough talent on this team to have more than 2 wins. Time to stop calling out players and make positional coaches accountable. It starts there. Do your job!

I believe Hackett is trying very hard to reduce this teams dependance on heriocs from Bortles. BB5 attempts have gone way down since Hackett came up, but it really didnt improve the team.

I think that they are trying to give Bortles 'arm' rest at this point. The team isnt good enough to win like that tho. But it wasnt good enough to win consisently the other way either. We just need a whole new system at this point.
Look hurns doesnt help unless a very short throw,  had no huge te with thomas out Lewis on IR shouldn't be here to begin with.   And had to rely on sterling and walters because hurns and greene are pretty much useless lately.

We just gotta learn to take advantage of early possessions and finish thru out. Forcing more turnovers wouldnt hurt either.
Goodell radio the officials, he said, dont let the jaguars win.

Two turnovers forced were wiped out by the refs.

You know what else wouldn't hurt?

Getting shafted by the refs on 3 game-changing plays.

FIFY.

The non fumble call early in the game after the Jaguars made it 7-0 and the Allen Hurns drop very likely changed the complexion of the game.   If the Bills are forced to pass often,   they are playing out of their element.

Sarcasm.

That is what 4th? 5th pass?  when it counted Hurns dropped?

One of the things that bugs me about this whole thing is the reaction from fans that indicate we shouldn't expect to get those calls.

Sentiments of that nature most certainly reflect reality, I'm not disputing that.

But innate, preconceived biases should not be written into, read into, or implied by or inferred from the rules.

The rules aren't uniform or objective if they vary from team to team.

Gotcha.

This is what irks me too...

Unfortunately $$$ talks, and the suits and the sharks have to get paid.

I think it's Allen Hurns 6th drop in total this season.   I'm assuming the following site didn't factor in today's games yet.  Having said this,  some drops in general are subjective:

I can understand the fumble. But the PI call was before int was clear as day.

The bogus out of bounds call with around 3 minutes remaining in the 4th QTR also was clear as day.

I will agree.  But todays and the one was almost in end zone to give benefit of doubt were catch able.  And that is why he got paid to catch them.  And because he is not dependable he lost his spot to Lee.

How so?

The CB had his back to the receiver.  The pass was overthrown.  Gipson played the ball.

The robinson one.  I rewinded it back 5 times.  To look in slow motion.  And that one foot did touch or was so close to touching can't dispute that.  However if it was called a catch be the same.   What they should do is have a offset option. Just like challenges.  Except only have one.  If throw the challenge flag and lose the coach has the option to restart or reset the play.  Just like 2 penalties offset.    It will eliminate many bogus ref calls.  And make it more enjoyable.

I'm not sure of what the salary cap implications are regarding Allen Hurns contract in 2017 but he's certainly not helping his cause.   Especially,  since his team is losing in part because of his inconsistency.
