He compared us to the pop sickle Buccanneers and the ain'ts. The comment that kinda upset me was when he said the 0-16 Lions were a better team than us.
He went on to say we would beat Alabama. I was waiting for him to say we couldnt,
Well at least we're better than Bama. That's comforting.
Trying to figure out how "Mike & Mike" can be "singular" as worded in the opening post...
oh, and we're not worse than the 0-16 Lions. The Jags will not end up winless this season. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jags win this upcoming week.
People are exaggerating how bad this current team really is. Its bad, but by seasons end, you'll see its no worse than your average run of the mill bad NFL team.
Honestly we may be the worst team in NFL history, but with Teddy and 7+ other draft picks, our current pieces, and some good FA spending, I can see us making a nice rebound next season. 5+ wins and games that are somewhat close?
Who are these Mikes? Who really is Michael Lombardi? Why do fools fall in love?

Draft Teddy Bridgewater and trade for RB Bryce Brown in the offseason and this offense could go from one of the worst to one of the best and youngest in football in one offseason.
Mike and Mike in the morning is a radio show/espn2 show.
When Cleveland won 2 games I knew we would have the #1 overall pick next year.
Pittsburgh and New York will eventually win, the Jags could go winless or maybe win a game at the end of the year against a team thats locked in the playoffs
Aren't the Bucs still winless or is it just us, the Steelers, and Giants?
And we care about what the national media says because...

This we agree on. There's a few positions on this team that are worse than others (QB, OG, OC, TE) but the young secondary has me encouraged with their week to week improvement. Sign a couple interior lineman, draft one or two as needed, and add Teddy Bridgewater and this team will change drastically. Even an average offense with average QB play and this team would be competitive right now. But one more thing also needs addressed this offseason on the offensive side and that's Jedd Fisch. I am a firm believer that this team having a young defensive minded Head Coach needs a more experienced proven offensive mind to run the offense. That needs to happen this year with a new QB.

Are you going to hit the ignore button on them? lol

So you disagree with what they said?
08 lions would beat this team

Or some Ben Tate... Killer Bees- Ben, Bridgewater, Blackmon
RAH RAH RAH THIS TEAM GETZ NO RESPEKT
Quote:So you disagree with what they said?
No.
I just don't care what they say about us.
I can formulate my own thoughts about this team.
Did they also touch on our attendance issues and how we might move?
Those are things that usually accompany Jaguars rhetoric, see sig.
How about worst offense ever?
I agree this is the worst team I have ever seen. They are terrible
Quote:How about worst offense ever?
With Blackmon returning, I don't even see that being accurate.
If they would just bench Slo-mo-Jo Drew and play Todman, the running game would also get a boost.
