Yeah if he played well and got 12 sacks last year, none of this would be as frustrating as it is.

Exactly cause now.... Don't know where mentally he is. And football is 90% mental and only 10% physical.

If he hits double digit sacks this year, it all goes away....

He won't... the only thing going away will be this guy I think. Sure he can still turn it around... but a knucklehead is a knucklehead.
I thought it was 17.35% physical, 65.90% mental, 16% spiritual and 8.27% various fillers and water.

Oh... well if Zeke is out there acting like a complete idiot... surely a less performing player on a worse team can do it

Touche'

I'm pretty sure it's 91% metaphysical.

9% sizzurp.
Yea man not looking good for Mr. Fowler
So apparently... I didn't know... being 22 is an excuse for battery.
Like... commit battery and you can use being a "young dumb" 22 year old adult as an excuse...

Or in the very least have others use it as an excuse for you.

I like your name and avatar but I expected a picture of a different red costume person? More like the Big Red Machine?
Lawerence Taylor wasn't a choir boy and thought he done pretty well for himself. I'm not saying Fowler is even in the same universe as Taylor, I'm saying bad guys can make good football players.

Battery? The guy didn't report an injury.
My greatest concern with Fowler is his undisciplined play resulting in costly penalties. He doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes either on the field or off of it (10 speeding violations in less than 2 years). Combine this with the fact that he was not considered an elite pass rusher in college and was just so-so last year. He had us all fooled during last year's training camp which turned out to be more a result of our terrible offensive line than him having elite pass rushing skills. If he doesn't get it together this season, it wouldn't surprise me if the Jaguars decide to cut their losses.

Anytime I've ever got a ticket, I was legitimately speeding.   Every time, the officer reduced the speed at which he clocked me at to the minimal amount as a courtesy or whatever.  So if he got written up for 9 over I expect he was going 15-20+ over the limit.

lol, the man had one bad season which was his first in the NFL while he was also coming off an ACL tear, and now you all are ready to move on. Ridiculous. He very well might be a bust but you can guarantee he'll be on the roster in 2018
You can't even guarantee he'll be on the roster THIS year much less next year.

This is the uneducated fan speaking.  Did anyone forget he is 22 years old? He may have not been a sack machine but he showed a lot for a 1st year player.  Good hustle, Violet player, strong at the point of attack, etc.  Did he live up to #3 overall going into his 1st year playing?  I would agree he DID NOT.  It's way too early to even think about cutting him.

I didn't say I predict he's going to get cut.  But he's not a lock for anything. It's a new regime. They already have his replacement on the team and they drafted another defensive end this year.

If Yannick is better than last year, and if Smoot is a positive surprise - and if Dante continues to behave like a complete idiot, yes I could see him cut.

He's 22 years old and with 2 years of experience in the Gus Bradley school of discipline. Of course he's gonna be an idiot, Coughlin and Marrone will sort him out quick and if they can't they'll ship him out just as quick.
You know, we could probably get a 3rd round pick for Fowler.
