If he really said that he maybe looking for a job real soon.

This organization in the last few years has had a real blind spot with regards to QBs. They get caught up in BB's athletic ability but lose sight of the instincts a QB needs to be successful.

Isn't Bortles a Gus Bradley leftover?

Tom and Doug are just giving Blake more rope.. Sooner or later, it'll be over..

Unfortunately Bortles is the best QB on our roster. Been waiting for Kap since week 3 of preseason though.....

Nah Gus would have just ruined him.

if you watched the post game press conference you could tell he was pissed about the penalties that forced them into having blake throw more. he wants to run and cant do that on 1st and 20 every time.

Henne is Henne. It's sink or swim with Bortles.

Listened to entire conference. And can't disagree with valid points.

And we all know Blake is a game manager. And the best we have at this point. And since a QB be a Kings Ransom to trade.

An option could be to trade for a rising receiver. If H Urns and Lee continue to struggle.

And Fournette while talented. Is not our savior. And shown that with the tacks stacking the box today.

Bortles is not a game manager. Game managers don't turn the ball over.

Blake is just a below average QB. He's not good but he's all we got. Next year, hopefully we can grab Rosen or Rudolph. Darnold seems a lock to go #1 and if it's anyone but the Bears, they'll take him.

Bortles is a game mangler not manager.

I dunno, Henne has major limitations also but he did at least show the ability to drop some dimes on the deep passes this preseason. If Henne is in there and hits Hurns on that deep play action pass that Bortles woefully missed and we go up 10-3 is this a different game? I think maybe so.

He can only play the cards he's dealt. In regards to QBs, they're the same card, just a different suit.

It's not about Bortles. The penalties and drops keep killing drives and forcing riskier throws. And the Jags D was playing well enough to win if the offense could eat some clock and get an occasional score. It would have been a tough game anyway because the Titans are a quality team.

He basically just confirmed that henne sucks as well. Not worth changing them out. Nothing we didn't already know.....
