Exactly!! Just fine the crap out of him if you want to send a message. I Think this was a terrible decision.

I'm pretty sure the photo shoot, meeting and workout was in the same day
We dont know why he did it, I bet he was in New Orleans with his daughter and family taking care of business there, nothing malicious, and just didnt make it back, but they have their dumb rules in place acting like they cant just fine a guy but your suspended for that stuff.
He was probably in church singing with the choir.

I would've fined him for the first offense, but I understand why they benched him.
I'd also guess there's more to it then we've been told. We see players miss practice, never get punished as long as they have a good reason, and communicate it with the team.

As a father taking your son to his first Jaguar game to see his favorite player and find out he isn't playing 2 hours before the game due to a decision they knew about days ago, do you still take the same stance on "discipline"?

Pretty funny that Fournette managed to get suspended before Fowler.

You guys were complaining about Gus and the team having no discipline and now you're crying about this. You are as much losers as the Jags of the last few years.

Yes, should teach your son to not break the rules

Clearly, Fournette is the only one having a problem following the rules, and that should tell you something.
It happened one time, your acting like he's been breaking rules a lot
Sometimes you miss flights or they get delayed, we dont know why he missed it, but one thing I do know Fournette is a good kid and he wouldnt just miss it just cuz he didnt want to go, something must have happened, but the team stuck with their guns.
We have no reason to believe Fournette is a bad dude, but you're making a lot of assumptions in his favor.
I promise you he didn't get benched for a delayed flight. He probably missed a day and didn't prepare the coaches for it.

The Jags should offer to refund everyone's tickets.

I'll agree with the first sentence. The second one took things a leeetle too far.

It's like going to a Cavs game and finding out LeBron isn't playing on the car ride there.

You fine the player for something like this. This "punishment" is for every single person that is wearing a uniform today.

So hopefully he learns not to punish his team in the future and follow team rules.

This needs to be told to the coaches...
