Big Grin I lost count but its a lot... tough win at home. The touchdown drive by Bortles was a thing of beauty.
Remember when we said all last year it is hard to win in the NFL? Yeah this year it feels better. Gotta hope they can learn and grow to move forward.
I wasn’t able to watch but my son says the refs tried their hardest to take the game from us.
This will be a good week. The Titans have to play on a short week in Pittsburgh. We go to Cleveland...

Gut wrenching pile of crap.   Well said.
[BLEEP] guys, this is the most fun I've had with this team since the 1996 season. It's fun to be a Jaguar.

I don't know if that is sarcasm but that is about all I can say after witnessing that spectacle for almost 4 hours.

They absolutely did. We made a bunch of bonehead mistakes to try to cost ourselves the game as well. I'm still kinda in shock that we won.
Jaguars finally win in overtime 20-17! Jags had to come back with to field goals both in regulation and in overtime!

Jaguars probably would have a pass interference penalty in the 1-yard line instead had Marquise Lee didn't cause that 15-yard taunting penalty - and the Jaguars might have won in regulation instead 24-17.

But Josh Lambo still defeated Gus Bradley!

GO JAGUARS!!!!
I'll admit I quit keeping up with nfl.com at the end of the fourth.....came back on to see what was going on, and was thoroghly confused when I saw the y were in overtime....

Glad there are better jaguars fans out there than me. I'm a pessimist for a reason though...hahahaha

Let's just hope this kind of game does NOT become a regular occurrence for the rest of the season

Overcoming what we did today is the sign of a good team IMO.

These are games you have to win. Nothing goes right but the scoreboard ends up the right way.

Absolutely!
This win is gold.

Yeah,  you have to if you want to even come close to being a contender. Good teams find a way to win games they shouldn't. You have to be able to win games in a way that goes against your strengths, because you can't count on your strengths to hold up in every single game.
Nice to overcome a bunch of mistakes, a patch-work O-Line, some bad calls and some QB miscues.

I really hope they don't have to continue to fight against that much adversity in one single game moving forward.

Might have to get on blood pressure meds. LOL

Ditto. Watching Bortles throw two forth quarter ints because he's forcing throws is maddening.

Also I hated seeing them take Fournette out for so long in the fourth quarter.
Does anyone know why we benched Fournette for a quarter?

Yeah,  he basically reverted back to his former self there for a bit. I'm sure the coaching staff will point it out (hell,  I'm sure he probably knows). Old habits die hard as they say.

I'm not sure what happened with Fournette, but unless he was injured the coaching staff just messed up(even if he was Ivory has showed he is more than capable ). Just because running the ball isn't working doesn't mean you should go away from it entirely if you're a running team. Just like 3 PT shooting teams in the NBA. You're gonna have games where you don't hit anything. You still have to go to it sometimes so the other team knows it's there. Don't let the opposing team dictate how you are gonna play. You have to adjust a bit, but don't completely abandon what makes you good.

Bortles would have not had 2 interceptions if the refs hasn't tried to screw us. He was trying to win the game and make plays happen when people weren't open. It is not his fault.
ongest two minutes of my life....from we lost, we won Banana ,  we lost Cry , nope ....we might win Rolleyes .....nope we tied,  Big Grin
....We WON! Banana   ....I'm so worn out.
