This is a team we should beat, but that doesn't mean we can walk in there like that. The Browns will win a game and it's hard looking at their schedule to see where that win comes from, so they're going to upset somebody.

We need to go in early and dominate, put up a couple of scores and then go from there. That method lead to success against the two leading the AFC North and will translate to a win against the Browns too.
I actually had this mentally marked as a loss possibilty. The Brown’s record does not accurately reflect their play. However, they are much like the Jags of a few years ago and wilt if getting manhandled. Certainly a winnable game but also loseable if not taken seriously.
Hopefully we can take advantage of Joe Thomas being out. I see Campbell having a big day
Total trap game in the cold weather on the road against a team with nothing to lose. A tacks defeat on Thursday might make them even more casual.

They need to prepare like they are going to NE.
Browns finna get smoked (my assessment every week)

Honestly if we go up 10 early this game will be over. I can’t see them stopping the run and even if they stop it they are not capable of moving the ball on offense. This defense will destroy Kizer. I see the defense straight up winning this game. May score two defensive tds and we cost to a huge win. 31-3 jags.

The trap game was the Chargers. This team has an issue with looking ahead and I think they wanted to get ready for this 3 game run. They walked out with an ugly win with a chargers and now we may have a a two game lead by the Seattle game. Tacks are gonna lose Thursday and will drop another one between Houston and Indy. They aren’t winning two back to back division games.

Yes, but it's Cleveland.

I'm gonna wait until I die to go to Hell.
Not worried about Clev at all we should win this game even if Clev plays us tough

The Chargers game I was worried about, since they have a Hall of Fame level QB and a great pass rush with a solid defense

Why the heck would you watch film on Tom Brady if you are playing the Browns?   Laughing
This is a must win game, even if the Browns aren't as bad as their record says but at this point we can't afford losing against them.

I just hope Parnell will be back and that Omameh and Robinson can get healthier during this week.

This is not a trap game, SD was a trap game, Brown are awful, we will have no business losing that game to clev, can we lose it, yes but that would be cuz we laid an egg, playing an 0-8 team is not a trap game
Isn't playing a team that you should soundly defeat on paper a definition of a potential trap game?

I think a trap game is really a game you should win right before you play a game that matters against a tough opponent. I think the bengals game would have really been considered a trap game or the 9ers before tinhorns or tinhorns before the tacks.

This is just a game we should win be we need to be dramatic so we are basically gonna call a every game a trap game.
Of course I’d be in Cleveland for vacation the week *after* the game. Woulda loved to have been in the stands there. Never been to an away game before

I have been to a November Browns game where a hot chocolate had ice form on the surface before getting back to my seat. The windiest, coldest stadium I have ever been to.
Cleveland has a good defense, especially run defense. This has trap game written all over it. If we play turnover free football and get at least 2 turnovers, we will win.

The health of the Jaguars Offensive Line indeed seems like a huge factor in this game.  The strength of the Browns Defense is their Defensive Line.  They aren't on the Jaguars level on the D-Line but many teams wish they had the personnel of the Browns Defensive Line.
Anyone see the Browns replay where Kizer audibled into a QB sneak from the 2 yard line with 15 seconds to go in the half? The Lions stopped him then maintained the pile so Kizer couldn't get up and call another play prior to the half ending --- Hue Jackson was livid on the field but sucked it up after the game and took the blame for Kizer.

I have a lot of confidence in our D against the Browns. Our secondary is going to completely lock down their WR's (They have very little WR talent to begin with) and our pass rush is going to give the rookie a hard time and cause him to make a few boneheaded mistakes. I think our offense may struggle against the Browns as they are a surprisingly fast and aggressive unit but our defense will save the day.
