I don't understand how some people are worried about this game.

Jags allow the least amount of points in the league. Browns score the least. Are you really worried about Kizer? I'm more worried about Beathard and the 49ers than I am Kizer and the Browns.

Especially after the bolts game...

Now we all know Bolts =/= Browns...
but we're beat up a bit, and this is that classic "trap" game.

Our injuries to the offense.  Lots of injuries on offense. I don't think anyone is worried about their offense

Mistakes by our offense (namely the QB)

I really don't think they have a snowballs chance in Hell.
But... strange things happen in the NFL.

Duke takes one to the house on a simple screen.
Bortles pressing to match score throws pick 6...
Injured guys don't heal quick enough, end up with 3 backups on OL
maybe no 4nette?

I mean.. it would take a few things going their way but if our guys come in thinkin they can skate by the Browns, we could be upset.

Like I said before though... I don't think it actually happens. But I totally understand some fans not being completely optimistic.
This is one of those games that we should win. Not can win... should win... those are the kinds of games that can leave ya let down

Exactly!! Just look at the posts when Fournette was benched for a game. ' I hope we lose'.

Look at when we went behind against the Chargers. That's it, we've blown it, trade him, fire him.

Just need the win,  however we get it. If we beat them by 40 then great but I'll be just as happy with 10-7!

Under that scenario, the tack trolls wouldn't have any room to talk on that point, considering they only won 12-9 over the same Browns team.

That said, the fact they were able to play the tacks so close is reason enough to not take them lightly.

people still don't understand these days a win is a win. rather its by 1,10 20 or 40. if a team ends game ahead of other team 17-16 the one with 17 gets the win. even a 1 point win is a win.
same thing with a lose. if a team loses ends up with 3,and other team has 4 that is a win for the other team. oh its highly unlikey,but you can score only 4 points in nfl with 2 saftys

Their offense if one of the worst in the league but they can score and they also have some pretty good players, especially with Corey Coleman coming back.  QB play is what is hurting them and Kizer had his best game last week and is up for rookie of the the week.  If they go into the game thinking like you are that they suck and dont take them seriously they probably will lose.  Im sure Doug will have them ready though and I dont think they will take them lightly.

They can still score 4 points without getting a safety

I completely forgot Gregg Williams was DC at Cleveland.

Now I want us to hang 50 on that cheat!

f Cleveland was smart they would involve Duke Johnson a lot because we struggled with Eckler in space. They are also very aggressive on fourth downs so we need to be prepared at all times for fakes or actually running a real play. I would pouND Fournette and Ivory early and often because we are going to be on the field alot due to Clevlands poor offense. Jamie Collins is a big miss for them but they did get Mccourty back and he's having a good year. That being said I think we are able to dominate Cleveland by stacking the box and keying in on Duke Johnson so it eliminates the easy check down for Kizer and he will throw 2 picks and Yannick gets a strip sack. 24-3 Jags

However you look at this game, I don't want to see them abandon the run game after teh first half...even if they do struggle, god forbid.

Fournette, Ivory, Grant, Yeldon....use all four of them if you have to. This team wins on stellar defensive play, and the D needs as much rest as possible, if that's how they're going to keep winning.

As said before, if any game was a trap game, it was the Chargers. Gus had intimate knowledge of our entire team and Rivers always carves us up. There was no way that game was going to be easy.

As for Cleveland, two things. First, our team is designed to play well in cold weather with a strong run game and dominant defense. Second, Gip's comments show me that this team will not take Cleveland lightly. They want to make a statement.

It wasn't the running backs last week that were the issue. It was the O-line. Kind of expected when you have to play the O-line carousel due to injuries.

Current forecast high in the 30s, windy, with some snow.  Should be perfect football weather.  Hopefully our running game shows up!

Not worried in the least bit about the Browns. The weather is concerning for me. Florida teams generally don't do well in those conditions. Blakes wobbes in 24 mph winds may drift 30 yards from where it's supposed to go lol.

Or the wind will counter the wobble and turn them into perfectly thrown darts!

I'm not worried about the weather honestly. TC and Marrone are more than familiar with preparing for the cold.

Meh, both teams are playing in the same elements. And really, not like this is a December or January game at Lambo or Pitt!
