I believe statistically I bring more to this board than anyone. 

I just really fail to see why it is so important to write off a QB was had decent success just one year ago despite having some of the worst coaching in league history.

 

He also seems willing acknowledge his faults, very directly, to the media, and is not being a jerk about it, and is taking action.

I have not done that quite yet. I defended him in the thread where it is being questioned as to if he is an alcoholic. I would love to see him return to at least last years level of play. We would be 5-2 if he was there. He isn't close unfortunately.

 

His struggles are real and he is failing to make even the most basic plays and reads consistently. That cannot be denied. At this point everyone is just jabbing at SCJ because of his comedic defense of all things Bortles.

I didn't even have to guess who started this lame [BAD WORD REMOVED] thread.


Gawd, I just hope they cut him soon so you can run off to some other team's unsuspecting message board and inundate them with this daily trash.

You need a lot higher level statistical courses than what the material you present suggests you have had.


The statistics you present are at a very basic level, and they always miss GIANT factors of importance that would affect the overall output of your "data".


If you've had higher level courses, I apologize. But, if that's the case, you probably need to go back and re-learn/refresh yourself.

I have no problem with Bortles. Has he regressed? Yes. Can he get better? Most definitely. Will he under this coaching staff? Probably not.

Bortles INT % will be dropped for the 3rd year straight by the end of the year. I'm willing to bet anyone hard cash at end of season.

 

2014- 3.6%

2015- 3.0%

2016- 3.1% (Just came off game with 54 attempts and 0 INTs)

 

 

Farve had a 3.3 INT% his entire career and was MVP type player. 

 

It must help to have a good team around you.

Tebow was a 48% passer. Bortles is improving to 60% now. Love these non scouts.

 

I wish Bortles had Tebow's Super Bowl winning 16 ppg defense and not a 28 ppg cesspool defense.
