So that should end the best defense in the NFL talk. No pressure on Gabbert, secondary burned numerous times, let the almost retired AP run all over us. Gave up the yards with 16 seconds left!? 16 seconds!?

We knew the offense was patch work at best, but the defense just got exposed.
One bad game and you're already throwing the best unit we've had in years under the bus. Is there a level worse than knee jerk?
I never really bought into the solidity of our defensive line, but with Smith out, the secondary wasn't the same.
They did absolutely nothing in the 2nd half, the defense is still light years ahead of any other in the league. 6 TDs on the season? only 2nd TD allowed to a WR all season?
Of all the takes to have post game, this was not one of the main ones I was thinking would be brought up.
How do you let Blaine Gabbert complete two first downs on the sidelines to stop the clock with 16 seconds left?

How?

Well we're Jag's fans. That's the only way we know how to react.

It's not just one bad game. Where was the pressure last week against the Browns?

Secondly the best unit we've had in years is a pretty freaking small bar to set.
Gabbert is the true Jaguar Killa!

According to some people on here. Nobody was worried about Adrian Peterson. He's older and slower.

Their backup QB meant automatic win for us.....like in college.
Indy, Ten, Houston, and god forbid SF will be watching this film.
Defense is ok

Oline is the catalyst
If you think this mediocre AT BEST team has any chance in the playoffs then you are a damned fool.

Really is Gabbert THAT good or was our defense vastly overrated?

It has to be one or the other you pick. I watched Gabbert, hell defended Gabbert up until the end, he ain't THAT good.

The one where Yannick strip sacked and Telvin fell on a TD for the game winning TD?

You mean the game where the defense got 5 sacks, 3 fumbles, 2 INT's and a touchdown?
Should have let these boards die. This place sucks with people like this guy.

Grow up.

Ran all over us for a whopping 79 yards. This defense CONSTANTLY bails out the offense. The scored a defensive TD.... again. Picked off Gabbert to help set up a potential game winning drive only to have Blake throw an interception.

Next time, wait a little bit before throwing your hissy fit tantrum.

We had 5 sacks against the Browns last week. What type of completely unrealistic expectations do you have where that isn't good?
