Blake is playing like he's injured or something. The offense has looked worse with each game since Green Bay.

Not sure what's worse, one spacecoastjag or two of them if you count this apparent clone of him. 

 

I've never seen two people consistently pick what stats they want to use and ignore others glaring them right in the face. Everyone says the same thing in response to them in every thread and it gets ignored every time. The epitome of a troll and apparently a damn good one (or two if you count this thread).

Great example of the stats telling a lie. If you look at the stats from yesterdays game or if you look at the stats here in this threat. Everybody that has a bit of a clue and actually watches football games can see that he is not the great quaterback that the stats might hint at. Yes the running game is terrible but the O-line actually pass blocks better than previous years. There was not a single game where Bortles played well for 4 quaters this year. Actually he played bad in all games but the Packers game. He does not throw downfield anymore, he makes 5 yard catches look very difficult, he overthrows and underthrows badly, makes wrong decisions, gets balls batted way too often which is because he stares down receivers and has a slow release and turns the ball over way too much. What is also concerning is he seems to be frustrated way too much and you could make a case that his struggles have affected the defense too in a sense that they have no hope in the offense anymore, therefore lack effort on their part.

He's on pace for those statistics thanks to Prime Time Garbage Time. You can't defend this kid anymore. 

I think im gonna have to call Jacksonville PD and give them a few tips. Blake has been playing horribly but that doesn't mean I want him to become a skinsuit in this guy's closet.

No. Did you even watch the game? Those numbers were pure garbage time against soft prevent defenses. This was literally the most Blake Bortles game ever. He actually out-Bortled himself.

 

Stats can be deceiving.

Stats are not deceiving, you can pick them out to make yourself believe anything you want

Wow. You still can't admit you're wrong about the owner and head coaching being THE PROBLEM, still wanting to replace Bortles with a slot WR QB in the draft? I gues they let anyone post here

Bortles LED the NFL last year with 72 passes over 20 yards.


Bortles just threw for 260 yards in ONE half when Olson put him in a hurry up, shotgun 2 minute offense and stopped trying to play smash mouth football with the NFLs worst rushing offense.


The coaching staff doesn't put players in their correct positions; not utilizing their strengths. Don't tell me Bortles can't spend 75-80% of the game in the shotgun.....Rivers, Brady, And Brees ALL do that.......


Then again they have McCoy, Belchick, and Sean Payton and we have Paul Casey Gus Bradley.

Rivers, Brady, and Brees know how to throw a football.

 

Thats an important part of being a QB. I own a multimillion dollar scouting company with my family so this is something that I can easily see. 

 

Alternatively, you could simply have atleast 1 good eye to come to the same conclusion( iq higher than the temp inside of an igloo is also a requirement).

Exactly. Even the common fan whose not really into football could figure that out last night. Phil Simms ripped Bortles a new [BLEEP] last night on his issues. He said multiple times how ugly or off his throws were and then went into a small speech about how some of those things can be fixed. He even included Rivers in that discussion along with Rodgers. Problem is that those two guys can and have actually proven they can get it done and they did that earlier on in their career. It's just frustrating when you see other quarterbacks more fundamentally and technically sound than our quarterback. Especially when it's guys like Mariota and Winston in only their second years and then of course Carr last Sunday here at home. He's just off completely. I don't know if he can be fixed right away with coaching now.

Blake, you threw for 3 TD's and 300+ yards last night, but you were most definitely a big part of the problem.
