I thought for sure Michonne was going to die last night.  It looked like a complete set up, and they really teased it there at the fair. 

 

I thought all in all it was a decent episode.  They really do annoy you with certain characters and you almost hope they die.  Rosita is well past that annoyance point though.

 

I thought the show was starting to get old a few episodes ago, but the last two have been decent.  I told my wife at the end of the last season this is no longer about walkers and more about drama.  It was good to see some walkers die last night.  They've become so used to killing walkers that 40 walkers are nothing. lol

Did they keep the 20 guns that were intended for the garbage people?

I think Michonne's death is coming. Virtually every woman Rick is in love with ends up dying in the show. I personally like her. I'd much rather see Daryl die at this point if they're trying to have a "shock" value added by the end of the year.

 

Which it kind of feels like it's being set up that way. They've kept him off screen a lot this season. To help lessen the blow of his death like they did Glenn.

 

Jesus's character has been kind of kept on the back burner. I thought he was more prominent in the actual comic series. Just wondering if he'll eventually get more screen time at some point. But I feel like if they're trying to have a massive budget cut like GoT did in one big episode. 

 

If there was a reason or season to have it happen. This is the one. I wouldn't put it past the show writers to kill off Daryl, Carol, Machionne & Morgan this season during the "All Out War" episode.

I'll agree on most things you said. I didn't like this episode as much as the Eugene one, but it did show a little bit of what Rick and Michonne have been feeling since Glenn and Abraham's deaths.


It's just funny, there weren't too many more walkers in the school where they got the equipment for Carl back in like season 2, but they couldn't handle it then.

Yup, doesn't look like many love stories last too long in the zombie apocalypse.  Someone usually gets it sooner or later.  One way or another.

 

That was quite a lot of overgrowth and quite a damaged roof after only "one or two years" without inspection/maintenance.  Roof isn't going to be that fragile after only a year or two into the end times.  But it did make for a comic moment.

 

I'd also think that for so many people to die so peacefully, the government must have gassed the place (survivors and guardsmen alike) to "sanitize" the area.

Haha I thought the same thing with the roof. Being that I sell roofing products and just went through a flat roof intensive training, my first thought was "well that's way too much standing water"


That being said, it is feasible that the roof was in need of repair before the apocalypse and if you have 6 inches of standing water and there's any sort of penetration point for 2 years. It's possible.


But yeah, the show and the timeline the show tries to convey, don't really add up a lot.

True. That's what I am looking forward to. The story hasn't really touched that much at all on what ultimately triggered the outbreak. In the first or second season they made it to the center of disease control and found out that it's airborne and that it effects all of us regardless of when the outbreak occurred.

That whole scene is begging for a backstory/flashback.

 

It seems like it was a "staging point" for supplies, and the carnival was set up to entertain the survivors while things were still being sorted out.

 

If there was a slow outbreak at this carnival, everyone would have high tailed it and have evacuated before they all turned.  They must have all turned together and without trauma.

The soldiers were still carrying their rifles.

 

Must have been quick.

 

I too am ready for Michonne and Rosita to get whacked.

Well, to be fair, it was Shane and Fat Otis who went for the supplies. Shane handled it fine, but Otis seemed a little gimpy.

The fake Rick death scene was real lame.

Regarding Sasha and Rosita, I think [spoiler]one of them ends up playing the role Holly had during All Out War in the comics.[/spoiler]

Post apocalypse sex has got to be nasty. That's what I kept thinking. My husband was like- I wonder when was the last time they cleaned up or brushed their teeth? Gave me the heebie jeebies. Ick.

Well remember, living in Alexandria they have hot running water. They've been pretty clean for the past 2 seasons.

How come a Walker bite turns you but getting their blood and guts in your mouth, eyes, and whatnot doesn't do anything?

It's not the bite that turns you. The bite kill's you, once dead everyone turns.

I know everyone turns when dead. So your saying the bite becomes so infected in general that you die from that which obviously in turn, turns you. I guess that makes sense.

So technically the blood and guts from a Walker on you, could kill you if it enters your blood stream. Through your mouth won't necessarily kill unless there's an open wound. Similar to how you can drink cobra venom but not be bitten by one. Interesting.
