We need to make a statement.
Quote:Not if Gus slowly closes the ice cream freezer with a stone-faced glare during halftime.

I don't know why, but I'm actually a little optimistic about this game. If Gus is finally turning the corner, there could be no better game than this one to prove it. If we lose today, barring injury to key players, Gus is unquestionably done.
I'm still in scared fan mode. Until they play consistently well I'll be the one whose heart races a little faster on every drive.
We need to make a statement.
Fred Taylor on 60 minutes tonight
Tweet from Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) - #Raiders RB Latavius Murray missed some time with turf toe, but the starter is back today vs. the #Jaguars, I'm told.

This is a huge game. The division is tight and we're at home with a chance to get back to .500.

Houston have a tough game vs Denver tomorrow night and the other 2 AFCS teams play each other.

If Jags win, Colts win and Houston lose the division will be:

Houston 4-3

Jacksonville 3-3

Tennesse 3-4

Indianapolis 3-4

Our run d is so good, a healthy latsvius Murray wouldn't do jack against us.
Yeah I think I'm alright with the Raiders starting a running back battling turf toe.  This should slow him down a step or 2.

Go jags!

Yep today is make-or-break. We'd be going into Thursdays game with a chance to lead the division.

Worst case scenario looks something like this:

Houston 5-2

Tennessee 4-3

Jacksonville 2-4

Indianapolis 2-5

Thats a big difference. Can the jags take advantage? History says no.
The next 2 games are vital. I think we need them both because going to Kansas City will be tough, even though I think we match up well against the Chiefs because we can stop the run and I don't think Alex Smith can put the team on his back.
The Jags MUST Pressure Carr today. Oakland has a very good oline. Do whatever u need to do.
The Raidas are way better than us, fact.

Carr is gonna light it up.

44-13 Raiders

Lol not gonna happen.
DO YOUR JOB GUS !!!

Raiders 38

Jaguars 9
Im going 27-14 Raiders.
As I said last week - this one is winnable if they limit the dumb mistakes.

  1. Stay under 60 yards in penalties.
  2. "One or none"blown coverages in the secondary
  3. "One or none" turnovers by Bortles.
  4. TJ: Trust your first lane and get upfield. You won't get enough blocking to re-direct most of the time.
I just dont think we can match up on there recievers with no pressure.
