This guy definitely has a maturity issue. You come into the league highly touted and blow your chance, so you should be working on your craft day and night to get better. Instead, he decides to go maskless to a strip club during a pandemic. If I were Washington, I'd cut my losses. This kid is hopeless.

One thing is doing what he done. But he went out and partied after a loss. Greats or even good players dont do that especially QBs.  He was out parting like he just won a game.  He was never really that good just the system and playing at Ohio St with great WRs, oline, Rb etc. agaisnt weak competiton made him look much better than he really was.

Minshew is an exception atm

Haha, nice two step. Minshew is better than Haskins. Haskins can't hit the broad side of the barn.

It's funny that someone said it was coaching(Gruden) and that ownership drafted him. Well, guess what, even the new coach benched his [BLEEP]. Haskins is a bum just like the rest of the OSU QBs before him.
I defended this kid and thought he would be a good QB, but this is one of those variables that we as fans aren't privy to. This kid apparently was all about the money, fame and partying when he needs to be in the film room trying to improve his mistakes. Judging by this incident, his work ethic sucks and he has no common sense. Of all places to go maskless, a strip club? That place is probably a petri dish and such a stupid move could cost his team a draft pick.
I too thought he'd be decent atleast.. man
He was my favorite QB in the draft when he came out. He disappointed but was doing better. I am not mad at him for going to a strip club. It is just the optics with everything going on that makes this look much worse than it is.

To go to a strip club and celebrate after a loss where you stunk up the joint though? Maskless, during a pandemic when several teams have been docked draft picks, because the were putting teammates and coaches at risk?

He actually didn't play as bad as he has in the past. He has shown some improvement. I am not ever going to get mad at someone for living their life how they see fit.
Haskins is blowing it. So much wasted potential.

It's mostly character/work ethic/off field junk. Haskins had the tools but not the stuff you can't coach.

Him not being a good QB had nothing to do with off the field stuff.  That was just the icing on the cake

Or you talking about Gabbert?  Gabbert actually had the tools but he just couldn't ever get it together. Gabbert had better tools than Haskins did and I hated the Gabbert pick

Gabbert came into the league as a totally unfinished product. He was an underclassman when we drafted him and if you watched him at Missouri, he was notorious for locking onto receivers. He needed to stay in school another year and then come out and sit for another year to adjust to the speed of the NFL. He got rushed into the starting role and his development was set back quite a while. I don't know if he ever would've been anything that special, but he had no business being a starting QB when he came into the league. He wasn't near ready.

Never kiss strippers, prostitutes or porn stars. That's a life lesson.

Sounds a lot like Haskins who wasn't close to ready.  Haskins has a weak arm, wasnt accurate unless the WR is wide open which was often, couldnt fit the ball in tight window, was one of the worst QBs under pressure, and probably the slowest QB in the draft.
