He’s definitely an idiot. He joins the list of thousands of other idiots Americans who forget the pay traffic tickets. I don’t understand the need to nail him to a cross.
Probably because he's a millionaire and just had a talk with his boss and additional management about said stupid decisions a few months ago? He's been making dumb [BLEEP] decision after dumb [BLEEP] decision since he's been here. Add in the fact that he can't stay healthy and you had grumblings regarding his willingness to work through injuries and his recoveries and he's quickly turning into a turd of an investment.
He's not Fred Taylor. He's not Maurice Jones-Drew. So far he's been been Tarzan with the durability of Jane but also seems to lack the maturity to be trusted for the long term. It's a minor incident but it's still a distraction to this football team.

I’m just glad JSO has nothing better to do and our streets are safety than ever.
Yea im not worried about the arrest and suspended license small things that happens every day to ppl. My concern was he was pulled over for a traffic violation wich means he was doing something wrong, but they dont tell us what it was. was he speeding, running red lights, or simply had a brake light out. Its bad enough driving around this city.

He forgot to pay a ticket. It happens more than you think. In many instances the cop will ask if you can get someone to pick you up, and then issues a notice to appear. My best friend had this happen to him and the cop let him walk. We went back and got his truck later.
Just glad it wasn’t something that would draw the ire of the league.
Do you think he gets suspended some games for this?
Only if the team decides to do so. The league isn’t in the habit of suspending someone for what would be considered a minor traffic violation. He forgot to pay a ticket. Let’s try to have some perspective here.

It's called being responsible. He has already made some mistakes and is on thin ice with the team. It's not like he don't have the money, he should of paid it ASAP. Maybe being responsible just isn't his thing
Big friggin deal. It is a nothing burger.

How do you know he didn’t take care of it or believed it was taken care of? Most players have assistants to handle things like this. Maybe his assistant dropped the ball? Maybe he needs better people around him sure but let’s continue to act like he just got busted trafficking drugs and children for the Mexican cartel.

Glad he's back in town at least since voluntary workouts start next week. That's a sign he means to be present for the voluntary stuff.
If this is the biggest headline of his offseason - he'll be fine. My main concern is with how well he learns and functions in a new playbook.
Going twelve mph over the limit and blowing off an old ticket is small potatoes compared to what we dealt with from Fowler.
Exactly.
The hand wringers on the board will pounce, but I’m betting the first time he recalled the ticket from last year was when he saw blue lights today. If the state suspended his license he would have received notification from the DMV as well as his insurance company telling him he’s been dropped. If all that happened while he was home in Louisiana, and it went to an address here in Duval he probably was completely unaware. Like I said earlier, it happens.
i just saw the unpaid ticket was for a parking violation in Neptune Beach. Seriously, let’s just cut him already. 12 mph over the speed limit? This is Duval. That IS the speed limit...at least.

The best part is that the officer or someone at JSO had to give the media a heads up that he was going to be perp walked over a parking and traffic ticket.
Big meh.
I'm sure Tom isn't happy with them being in the news again though
As long as he don't get in anymore trouble it's no big deal. I'm a Fournette fan so I hope he walks a straight line and has a career year
It's cute that so many here think he was actually doing 12 over the speed limit. The reality was probably more like 25-30 over.
Really though this on its own doesn't mean much, it's this after a lot of other dumb and immature behavior and what the Jaguars once again passed on to take him that makes it such a Pepto moment.
He’s showing a pattern of dumb behavior. He’s going to do something real idiotic at some point and he will get nailed

It's cute that you refer to your wild speculation as "reality."

Going by how I see people drive, and what it says about someone that would go at least 12 mph over in a residential area, which is that they're already throwing the safety of those around them to the side, probably do even worse.

oh i thought you had actual info that disputed the police report of 37 in a 25 zone
It's very silly how much some of you are overreacting. And saying he's made tons if dumb decisions since getting here? Come on. You guys are just silly.
