I don't understand why some of us are making it out to be an serious crime such as assault, spousal abuse, etc. The man forgot to pay a ticket. Usually a person Will Not get arrested for this but his status was preyed upon in my opinion. Yes it was a dumb thing to do being that he definitely have the money plus you can even mail the payment in.
Some are all over him because of whom he is while disregarding that it could happen to anyone of us. Including myself. Been there Done that in my younger days.

Really though this on its own doesn't mean much, it's this after a lot of other dumb and immature behavior and what the Jaguars once again passed on to take him that makes it such a Pepto moment.
It's cute you think your supposition is reality.

Nobody is doing that to be fair

It's cute that you refer to your wild speculation as "reality."
Ah, damn, I should have kept reading the thread.

It’s even cuter that some here are constantly looking to make mountains from molehills.
This on its own means nothing. This has nothing to do whatsoever with the other unless you happen to be one of those mountain builders.
Isn't that really what I said? One speeding ticket doesn't mean much?
Also looks like I was right about his behavior. Almost doubling up the speed limit the last time he was caught.
The first article I read contained the narrative that this brings Fornette's future with the team into further uncertainty. Perhaps I missed something, but his future with the team seemed pretty certain before this, and this incident isn't likely to move the needle much. Who the hell writes these articles?

If I was driving 12 mph over the limit I’d be the slowest car on the road.

Yet you still drive in the left lane the entire time.
Leonard was clocked doing 22 mph inside the stadium in Pittsburgh and didn't get a ticket for that.
It’s not so much the “speeding” if you can even call it that. It’s more about this guy continuing to just make bone head mistakes.
RB at 4 overall.... SMH

exactly, its not that they took a RB at 4th overall. They just took the wrong one.

A RB at 4 overall, who's nothing more than a one trick pony at that.. and we only get to see that pony show up maybe once, or twice per season

At least Zeke and Barkley showed they're the full package.
I hated the pick on draft day and I hate it even more as the days go on.

well no, they should have taken a QB
Yeah but at least he could have done a lot worse. Like hit and run as well as far worse crimes. Hope he can live and learn.

LOL! Right, because the cops were looking to do him a favor by reducing his ticket and taking him to jail instead.

They should have taken Mahomes but if they wanted a RB they should have taken McCaffrey. They could have taken Jamal Adam's as well.
This story disturbed me.... I mean really "star running back Leonard Fournette" come on fake news it is just running back not star.

'its nothing' It was just 12 over...
Those comments are all aging real well.
If Fournette had no other issues, I wouldn't think this is a big deal. But he has, and he does. And I would still trade him to other GM's who hopefully think like some of the board members here. Guy has no vision or memory. It kind of makes sense actually.
Fournette: I'm happy with the direction this team is going. I'm going to keep improving my game to help my teammates get back into the playoffs.
"shadow appears from the bushes"
Blackmon: Join the dark side. We have permanent paid vacation.
