I just can't wait to see our starters play. It's hard to evaluate our team when it's 2nd/3rd string guys out there against other team's starters

I Concur w/reference to 2nd/3rd stringers. I also understand that part of Marrone's decision to play said players is to determine the back half of the roster, especially the OL. Our two lopsided pre-season loses is due to this strategy. It's time for the 1st stringers to get some game time reps.

Thank Goodness.

Virtually seeing no starters and losing preseason games and people just thinking "same ole jags" and then we stole the show in the regular season.

The starters played more that preseason than this one.
But Marrone sandbagged pretty heavily as far as keeping the playbook 80% under wraps.
Including run blocking schemes, which had most of us worried about the o line.

Norwell in there too.

Need both of those guys ready to go in a few weeks. Good to see them practicing.
Good news, starting OL and Foles to play Thursday:

I'm a little surprised Cam Robinson will be playing.
Can't wait to see Robinson, Norwell, Linder, Richardson and Taylor all playing together. Hopefully that means we can cut Wester and Ogbuehi soon.

Same. Should be night and day performance wise finally. Just hoping they can all hold up physically for the majority of this season. I know history will lead us to believe otherwise. But I'll continue to remain optimistic.

But I thought the entire team was headed to IR a couple weeks ago?!?!
Robinson looking ok in that clip, pushing off that leg. I think Marrone has had enough of seeing plays never start due to the O line. Hard to judge Minshew and RB's when they have no time or help.

I just hope Cams ready. Marrone has gone for a strategy this pre season and I hope this isn't panicking.

If Robinson is ready, give him a few drives in the 4th game, it will be backups so hopefully a smoother return than in the deep end week 1 against Frank Clark.

If that's all that we were lacking, then it's official. We can't expect, or accept anything less than the Super Bowl now.

That is so funny.

“Nothing against Blake, but... he sucked”
Blake was very laid back. I don't recall him ever getting in anybody's face or trying to fire his teammates up. He was very ho-hum after making a mistake or missing on a pass. Not saying he wasn't motivated or a good teammate. But a QB should carry certain traits. Blake seemed to lack those traits.

I wouldn't say SB, but playoffs or else.  No excuse why we shouldnt make the playoffs if Foles provides that juice they're talking about.  You cant let a horrible to average QB outshine you, when you're supposed to be the spark.

Solid, veteran TE that will most likely be waived by the Eagles. (They currently have a plethora of guys that could miss a few weeks so he will most likely be the odd man out). He already knows the offense and Foles is familiar with him. Wouldn't be a bad waiver pick up for the Jags, imo.
I'm hype now.
