If the roles were reversed and Oliver was in GB, he would most likely do well.

A good QB makes everyone better on offense, but Sternberger would perform better than Oliver on either team. He simply has more talent and GB is going to capitalize.

Agreed. Sternberger was my #3 TE after Hockenson and Fant. IMO, those were the 3 elite guys. I do like Oliver though and think he has the ability to be the best TE we've had in Jacksonville in a long time. It wouldn't even surprise me to see him become Foles' favorite target by midseason. Foles loves the TE as a safety net and I believe Oliver is definitely the best one on our roster. I LOVED Hockenson, but when we picked, the best player in the entire draft was on the board and we couldn't pass him up. We did the right thing in that instance. I definitely would've taken Sternberger over Oliver in round 3 though, but it is what it is.
Allen looks like a game wrecker. He has the athletic ability and all the moves. I like what I have seen from him so far.
Not exactly Jags news but interesting nonetheless:

Wow.
That line is god tier awful but makes me feel better about Pat Flat leaving as if may suggest he's hard to work with (been reports before he's a stubborn old mule)

Also that new oline coach was the guy who helped the colts out last year

I haven't seen those reports, but I figured old OL coaches are like that by nature.  I have heard speculation he was let go in part because of Robinson's lack of development.  I heard one of the talking heads (Searcy or Lageman?) indicate last week that Cam got hurt last year because his footwork was off, and if he had good technique he may not have torn the ACL.

Flaherty got good results here-at least in 2017.

Not that I really care about what happens with the Dolphins, but you gotta wonder how that will impact the development of the OL, specifically the rookies.  Wil the new OL coach teach the same techniques as Flaherty?

Based upon the scouting reports I read, he doesn't have "ALL the moves," but based upon the few clips Ive seen of him here in Jacksonville, he uses his hands well, and he showed a good inside move here.

Still, I am going to temper my expectations a bit.

Fowler came out early in the 2016 camp playing like a man possessed against our subpar tackles, but then got handled by Tampa RT Demar Dotson.

Note, the update in this article about taven bryan is seemingly the exact opposite of what Boselli observed of Bryan, as relayed on the radio today.
Can someone tell me if Will Richardson has been getting any reps at OG or is he playing exclusively at OT?

I couldn't tell.  Maybe when I go out there later this week, I can find out.

I haven't heard what Boselli was saying, but I want it to be what is in the article. I'm pulling for Bryan. The big lug has strength and speed, but not the level of athleticism to focus it. I'm in the hopes he's advancing in that department.

I was thinking the same thing. I listened to the conversation on 1010XL and it was stated that Taven was on the ground too much.

NH3...
Damn, considering how much speed the defense has, that's definitely saying something about Quincy
