They just need to ship his whiny [BLEEP] off already so the MSM and team can move on from this sidebar conversation every week. [BLEEP] is getting old. They literally need to [BLEEP] or get off the pot. He doesn't want to be here. And there's no sense in letting him rot out of pride.
Won't be the first diva to set foot in Jacksonville. Certainly won't be the last.

Eagles sound like they will be our dancing partner on this. They are in a 2 man race with Dallas for the division and need serious help. I don't believe the rumors of their first offer, but if we can somehow add Ertz (who our starting QB already has rapport with) and a couple 1st rounders which will end up being mid-late picks, I am fine with it at this point. I would use those picks on O-line.

Minshew has never played with Ertz.

Your jib, I like the cut of it.

Minshew has never played with Ertz.
And he likely won't.

Bold take lol
Of course he likely won't because the odds of the Eagles trading Ertz are extremely slim.
However if the Eagles did trade Ertz to the Jags, Minshew would be the starting QB (considering Foles can't come back until week 11). The trade deadline is October 29th. So if the Eagles did trade Ertz, Minshew and Ertz would play together.
We'll see. I really hope all of this [BLEEP] is put to rest just before the deadline though. They have two weeks to make a decision. My guess is that if the defense can get after teams that they SHOULD be able to get after like the Jets and Bengals without him in the line up then that's when they'll make their decision.
Would be nice to see Ertz in this offense with Minshew and eventually Oliver in twin TE sets. A pair of mid 1's and maybe give them a 3rd in next year's draft to even up the value for Ramsey and we're off to the races. Decent CB's to be had in next year's draft. C.J Henderson, Kristian Fulton, Bryce Hall, Jeffrey Okudah & Treon Diggs are all high up on most boards.
I like the idea of also adding more to the offensive line. Wouldn't be opposed to adding another lanky receiver like Chark to give Minshew more opportunities downfield too.

I'd jump on this in a heartbeat
Checked in to see if there were still sweet jalen jock hangers in here and I'll be damned. There are. Buuuwwwwaaaa!!! Friggin pathetic as his fake injury. What a [BLEEP] this guy is.
He has now become engaged in an act that can be considered nothing else but fraud. In our world it's workers comp fraud and punishable by jail time.
Eagles have fallen to 3-3, with their secondary getting roasted repeatedly by the Viking receivers. IMO, they would be the ideal realistic trade partner for Ramsey. If they offer anything close to two first rounders and a solid player, I hope the Jags take it. Ramsey does no good riding the pine.

1. Soft tissue injuries are tricky
2. Don't compare NFL with a regular 9-5 job, how dare you?
Did I cover all of the Jalen butt smoochers excuses?
Jalen is a piece of garbage, just like Telvin Smith...
The wonderful thing is all he's doing is hurting his own stock for other teams.

a - That is not wonderful (if true.) We want value in return.
b - His stock is likely just fine with teams in real need of a quality CB and money to give him a blockbuster deal.

3. The players are completely robotic and feel nothing in regards to their best player on their team not helping them out.
Never mind the fact that these players are also paid professionals and probably don't want to publicly say anything at this time. Since, you know, not everybody on this team likes to show up in a Brink's truck and act like a diva.
But hey, it's an opinion! And you know what they say about opinions? They're just like buttholes! Everybody's got one!

I mean after they sit him for 2 years and he's totally out of sight out of mind.. he'll get a veteran minimum deal and that's all; you can't fake injuries in this league.
From Peter King on FMIA:
Quote:4. I think I’m very rarely one to question players’ injuries, because we don’t know what is going on inside a player’s body. Having said that, I am going to question Jacksonville cornerback Jalen Ramsey’s injury. This smells too much like a player using everything in his arsenal to shoot his way off a team. Until this sudden back injury popped up, allegedly the cause of Ramsey missing the last three games:
Ramsey had been a Jaguar for 54 games and started them all.
In game before Ramsey reported the back injury, he played all 79 snaps against Tennessee.
In his 54 career games, he has been an ironman, playing an average of 64.8 snaps out of 66 per game.
It’s time, Jags. Make the move. Get Ramsey out now.

Damn you jumping off the bandwagon that quick?
One bad game for a 6th round rookie (a couple of the bad throws were actually bad routes)
par for the course with knee jerk reactions from this board though.
Honestly, I’d settle for one 1st and an okay OL at this point.

I agree.
Hell, at this point... trade him to Houston... I don't care.
Just get the picks (and players) we need to keep building around guys that are here and want to be.
More OL help.... Tight Ends... LBers...
