I've said it from week one Ramsey is a part of the problem with the attitude of the defense. I have a feeling that Yan isnt going to resign here because Ramsey has been in his ear. This is just my opinion but I feel like Jack has always been closer with Cambell which is why he took the offer he was given.
I'm actually glad the Jaguars are playing hard ball with Ramsey because it will send a message to the rest if the team that your worth what someone will pay you not what you think you should be paid.

Apparently practicing today.
Alternative conspiracy theory: Maybe the back issues are real and significant and he’s been pushing to get paid here or traded and paid before letting on how much pain he’s dealing with. Not saying I necessarily believe this, though it would make sense if true.

Considering the trade request, the string of uncanny coincidence concerning his availability I would tend to believe that the specialist report indicated no real medical reason for pain as obvious. We will never know.

In the original trade request thread there were a few of us that predicted he may not let Thomas come to town w/o playing against him -- just because his ego couldn't take S.M. chatter that he shied away from the matchup.
I hope that proves true. We're better with him out there even if most of us are over the whole thing.

I don’t care what it takes to get him out there. Just play man

If he wants to keep his value up he needs to play against him. Still hope he gets his wish before the deadline or early next year though. Not worth the circus sideshow. He's a talented player and once in a great while talent and blah, blah, blah. But he's also a [BLEEP] [BLEEP] diva that acts like he wears red high heels around his living room to hype himself up before going outside everyday too.

I don't know whether to laugh (because I imagine he was declared fit to play and has to come back) or 'cry' (for the same reason.) I guess if he can help the TEAM win against the Saints that's a bonus. But if he goes in and obviously tanks it (because that would be his next move) and we lose because of it, I hope there is genuine outrage from Jacksonville I can feel all the way up here in NC and he gets run out of town. Or at least off the team for the rest of the season.

I half expect another nonsense excuse to come out: "He tried to practice but his back got tight so he withdrew from practice and won't play Sunday". Fascinating to see what the next move is at that point.
It would also be fascinating to see the interaction between Ramsey and the other players on the practice field. I'm sure it would be telling one way or another.
Fingers crossed he sucks it up and plays hard on Sunday.

Ok, that's good news.
Let's see how the rest of the week goes.

It's always possible that he had a legitimate injury, and that he'll come back and play for us the rest of the season, and that things will get smoothed over and worked out in the offseason, and everything will work out for the best.

At this point that has as much validity as anything else that's been said.
It's all just speculation at this point.

.
I know everyone has an opinion and a theory but I do wonder if the trade request hadnt leaked, we would have just thought he had a slight back injury, back in 2 weeks.
I'm not ready to say Jalen has been faking the injury, and I know I could easily be wrong, but I dont think hes that kind of player but we will see this week.
Coaches and players treating him like [BLEEP], yep hes been faking.

At this point, I don't even know what to say anymore. I don't want to call a guy who I've never met a liar, but...it's hard to believe anything Jalen says about his back or his focus and commitment to the team. He might help the D this week if he actually shows up to play, but at this point I think it's obvious the defense has a lot more problems than just pass coverage.
