It's clear the wheels are falling off...

Mature, seasoned players like Marks don't make comments like that unless the frustration has clearly boiled over.

The signs that the wheels are falling off are there.
Quote:It was horse [BAD WORD REMOVED] play calling. Instead of going in for the kill and taking a shot to the end zone they run up the middle twice LOL.

Then on 3rd and long the defense pins their ears back because of course it's an obvious passing situation now. Blake was put in position to fail, and he did just that, I'm not excusing him. But that play calling after not 1, not 2, but 3 gift wrapped chances to ice the game was some weak [BAD WORD REMOVED] bull [BAD WORD REMOVED].

Marks has seen this story a dozen times. Everyone knows that we should of went for the kill. Players are fed up
If and when Gus Bradley goes, the under coaches will almost certainly be gone too. At least Olsen; the play calling on offense has been awful this season.

Blake should have went off script and audibled into something to score. What's the worst that would happen? Gus yells at him? lol

You saying this makes me wonder just how often Blake wants to change the play at the line but either he can't/won't for whatever reason? If this is even part of what's going on, it would explain some of what we're seeing but would also confirm that he in particular has little-to-no faith in his coaches to make the right calls.

I'm sure there are a lot of times he wants to. The screen at the end of the SD half comes to mind. You just KNOW Blake wanted to take a shot.
I can see why Marks is so mad seeing as how he has balled out for a enormous two tackles in three games so far. Play like his so far this year is why they are the" [BLEEP] Jaguars" as he so chose to put it. They all need to keep their mouths shut, quit committing stupid penalties, stop sending in plays that have not and will not work with their talent level, quit throwing picks, quit missing tackles, stay on blocks and every damn thing else they have been doing and,

WIN A [BLEEP] BALL GAME!!

^^He mad^^

He was asked this directly and said that every play has variations and options but that rarely has he gone completely off the reservation and changed the whole play. He certainly should have last Sunday

I'm not quite as angry today as I was yesterday.

Don't worry, you'll calm down by Saturday. Then Sunday arrives and the cycle repeats.
Quote:Coming from a respected player like Marks...those words are definitely carrying some weight.
So the coach asks the defense to do their job & a respected defensive player blames the offense.

Priceless.

Every week, like clock work
Some way, some how....the guys have to start pulling together.

Is it up to the vets to get the rookies to using their heads ( like dante thinking he's back in college)

What motivates these guys? Pride? Money? Respect of other NFL players? What?
