Positioning for Jalen Hurts, and acquiring picks for the deep WR class.  The Pats now have 13 picks.

Josh Jones is there and there are about 4-5 guards who could start over Cann day one.

It's still the first round no matter who we took the rest of the draft could have addressed other stuff. We made two bad picks no matter how you slice the rest of the draft.
I didn't like the Henderson pick at 9. I do like the Chaisson pick at 20. We just really need to do something at OL. *sigh*

I still expect to get a quality WR. And who knows what we might get for Ngouke?

They are not bad picks. They aren't the picks YOU wanted, but the players selected are worthy of the spots they were chosen.

They gonna draft Jordan love and he's gonna be a star.

Nah. Bill will load up on the foundation for 2021 by drafting supporting players this year and rolling out Stidham this season to a 2-14 record. Then he’ll draft Trevor Lawrence next year and the dynasty continues.

Lol. Let him have Hurts. Just a guy.
Wasnt it Chaisson the one working out in Jags tshirt??
Maybe Marrone can fit Norwell with one of those reverse beepers that sounds the alarm every time he's pushed back into Minshew. Then him and Dave can say they addressed OL needs.

Bellichick will always have a solid team that overachieves because he is an evil genius.  He won't hoist another Lombardi.  Brady was the secret sauce to that team.

When Henderson gets smoked on a weekly basis because he cant tackle in the open field and Chassion goes down due to injury because of his knee and ankle history just remember they passed on Ruggs, Jeudy and Lamb and could have had Wirfs.

Offense still looks anemic after tonight. And as long as Wash is calling the defense? It's literally a wash no matter who they add on defense. Even when he had talent in 2017 anc tee'd oft against 2nd rate and rookie QB's he still got out coached.

Ah yes, I missed the ol draft night spin. If people said these would be the picks a few hours ago people would have rightfully been irate. But since we are fanatics we'll twist ourselves into pretzels to fit our fanaticism.

Yah and Ezra Cleveland and Isiah Wilson are both still available.  If we go interior line, I'd love to see us take Robert Hunt. He's played guard and tackle and is extremely athletic...
Some of y'all are crying like there still isn't 6 more rounds of a draft coming...

Regardless if we like the picks or not we won't know if they are good picks till a few years down the road
Great picks by the Saints with Cesar Ruiz.
I’m happy. If we can trade back in with a Yan trade, icing on the cake

If you would have told anyone a few hours ago that either of these guys would have been available at the time they were picked, you would have been laughed at. The value for these picks is there. The need for a CB is there. I'm not sure I would have pulled the trigger on about DE, but it's a solid pick.

There is no spin except from those that want to see us fail.
49ers moving up for a WR. [BLEEP]!
