Interesting.

But you’re trusting a report that is untrue. So where do we stand?
I'm going based off of multiple reports, including a guy who is very close to Sanjay Lal (who apparently is the one leaking info).

I would also bet my house that whatever comes out of Urbans mouth is a lie. So if a report says that he and Marvin Jones went at it and then Urban says "Nah", I'm going to believe Urban is lying...... because that's what he does. He lied about the benching of JRob. He's thrown numerous coaches and players under the bus as well.

Again, no confirmation from Marvin Jones.

I’m not defending Meyer. What I am saying is don’t let these rumors and secondhand accounts work you up into such an angered state that you honestly believe Meyer will be gone if we lose to Houston. It’s not happening. UM will be trotting out on the field wearing Jags gear at the beginning of the 2022 season. We may not like it, but that’s the way it is.

Maybe. Maybe not. It's getting uglier by the week locally now. It's been ugly in the MSM as well.

If it leaks. It leads. Khan already had to publicly bail him out after that issue in Cincinnatti.

This situation is different. He took a lump for that Coughlin situation. I don't think he can afford it again with Lawrence's development on the line.

If they get clobbered by the tinhorns and Jets he's on the chopping block. That doesn't mean the butcher's knife will come down on him. But, a serious conversation takes place after this [BLEEP] show.

Maybe Bieniemy would have the best shot? A guy that the players love and think has deserved a chance for many years, and I'm not going to dance around it, hiring a black coach would probably help quite a bit.

I think any coach who players know will treat them like human beings has a leg up on Urbz.
Any coach who will publicly shoulder any team criticism instead of throwing his players or assistants under the bus has a leg up on Urbz.
Any coach who isn't going to be thinking past accolades gives them a pass from any current criticism has a leg up on Urbz.
Any coach with a pulse has a leg up on Urbz. I don't care if they have purple skin, and I doubt players would, either.

I'm not asking which coach would have a leg up on Urbz. Obviously that's every coach on the planet.

I'm talking about which coach would be appealing enough that FA would ignore the NFLPA complaints about Coughlin that amounted to a whopping 1/4 of the entire player complaints league wide, which continue and even worsen now with Urban.

The next coach doesn't just have to be better than Urbz, he has to basically be a bonafide saint to overcome all of the stank this franchise has had the last 3-4 years and draw FA here.

Dude, just change your name to homerbiscuit already.
Urban was caught lying in his college days, so I’m not sure why anyone would give him the benefit of the doubt anymore

The Urban Liar nickname literally goes back like 15 years. Shad got exactly what he asked for.
Dempsey is going off on 1010XL. Thank god. Meyer needs to go. He's on the ropes.

Meyer has control and final say on everything. He says he doesnt micromanage yet he has control and final say on everything.

2 - 11. That's what he's done. Severe regression. No identity. No foundation. [BLEEP] show after [BLEEP] show after [BLEEP] show.

He's not a PRO. He's a rah-rah college guy. Get him the [BLEEP] out of here!

No doubt. My guess is Khan hires a strong GM and takes personnel decision-making away from Meyer after drawing a definite line in the sand. As I’ve stated, I think he gets until around the bye week to show a definite turnaround or he’s out the door.

Might as well rebrand ourselves as the Jacksonville Titanics.

That's the vote of confidence we need around here!

Wouldn’t work, the Titanic actually did try to avoid the iceberg once they could clearly see it. Anyone with half a brain can clearly see how toxic urban is yet Khan refuses to turn the ship
My god, what a [BLEEP] show. It's everything I feared the day they announced they hired that jack [BLEEP] to be the coach.
Saw a reporter in the post game interview kinda grilling urban. The reporter even asked why is this offensive line Playing so bad despite their salary? Urban just nodded and agreed.

He's probably still Shelly Shocked.
Just listened to 1010 live interview of Tom Pelissero. This guys seems as legitimate as they come. He indicated that as long as he has covered the NFL (over a decade, I believe), he has not seen a more dysfunctional (my words) situation. Nobody has contacted him to defend Urban and he has had several calls from ex-players and coaches basically confirming everything he said.

If Shad Khan does not make a change by the end of this season, he will quickly come to regret it. We all know Meyer will fire many of his coaches once the season ends. Once these guys start talking about the total dysfunction in Jacksonville, it will be impossible to lure top free agents during the off-season. In addition, no top coaches would take a job as assistants to Meyer. Season ticket sales will likely plummet to an all-time low. Who would have believed this could happen one year after drafting Trevor Lawrence?

And you believe Tom?!

Unreal. Urban said the reports were false so I believe him.
