I don't think that the media will use this Khan out of whatever it's being called as a way to heavily criticize Khan. I think that they either like or at worst are neutral on him.
If anything, they will use this to continue to talk badly about the organization and possibly poke more at the fans. And I don't know if this will move the needle too much regarding Trent Baalke. I think that Khan is going to do what he wants to do with him regardless.
It's not like with Urban where he was tied to scandals which gave Khan really easy outs to get rid of him. Plus, I think that the thing that a lot of fans are really upset about but won't admit is that Trevor's play has really disappointed them. I think that is what is really bothering people. If Trevor had looked better this season and had better individual stats (not even necessarily wins), I don't think this Khan/Klown act whatever you want to call it would be happening. But people want to direct their frustration about that onto Khan, and Baalke after trying to blame Urban for a lot of it when he was coach and also constantly blaming the other players for a lot of things as well. I think that people are trying to disguise their frustration about Trevor in this "event".
I guess running out a winning HC and then replacing him with 2 garbage coaches while picking terrible players/forcing good players out isn't enough for Khan, or you apparently. There is a reason coaches are hesitant to even interview here. Are the Jaguars taking apps in the front office? I think you'd fit right in.

So this will attract the top notch coaches now?
My dad menttionted the clown out thing could make the owner mad cause he feels insulted, and in spite of fans will hire another loseing HC because of the clown outas his revenge againest the fans.
I don't see it any different than the Baguars. Fans have to have a voice somehow.

Of course the clown show crap doesn't matter in the grand scheme, but it's certainly something fans are doing to show their displeasure...
Point to me where I said that, lol. I don't even get where you're coming from with the 2 quoted posts you're replying to... Do you want Baalke here or something? Do you really think he's attracting top tier candidates with this track record?
The 1010xl guys down at the stadium say there are very few clowns among the tailgaters. This clown thing might be a bust.
I think the clown thing is a good idea.
It's not disrespectful to the players. It's about getting Trent Baalke fired. Players usually don't pay much attention to the fans. Even if they did, I think most would either find it funny or like their passion.
Some have suggested just not showing up for the game. That's a bad idea. It makes us look like bad fans. It also gives no reason for the no show. They may not be showing up because we're 2-14 coming off a 40 point loss. It says nothing about Khan not firing Trent Baalke. That's the message we want out there. Clowns shows our passion.
Wearing bags is pointless. It's been done to death. Clowns is getting national media attention. It made Fox New's web site. Again, bags don't make the issue clear. People could wear that just because the team is bad. Clowns has become the symbol of firing Baalke.
As for Khan, it's only personal to the extent that keeping Baalke is his personal decision. That's why the symbol includes him. Only he can make the change the fans want.
As for participation, I agree that it will be low. Bags are easy to find. Everyone has them. Getting clown items takes effort. Also, many simply don't want to dress as a clown. However, it's still a good movement. I guarantee the tv stations will focus in on the few in clown outfits in the stands. It gets national attention. That's the point of it. Put as much pressure on Khan as a possible.
Will it work? I don't know. Probably 30/70. However, it we didn't do it, it was 1/99. of getting Baalke fired. It was worth a shot.

Fans speak with their wallets.
It's the only voice NFL owners will hear. If a few hundred out of thousands of fans show up in clown gear, guess who looks like clowns? A few hundred idiots.
But by all means, Halloween in January.
Baguars is also kinda dumb imo. If you're unhappy with the product stop paying for it. Don't but tickets, concessions, jerseys etc until it gets better.
Will an empty stadium eventually lead to the team moving? Maybe. But I doubt it.
I think it would be much more effective of a "stand" against the regime and this owners choices if the stadium only had about 15k clot fans show up.
Anyway, enjoy the [BLEEP] show today folks. I'll be out on a boat doing some fishing and enjoying the day. Much less stress.
Anywho thought I'd check in and see what was going on round here. Haven't been on in quite some time. Haven't been watching much this season. Probably check back in closer to draft time. And we'll see if next season is worthy of any time and energy. No matter who is GM and HC I will give them a chance to win me back... but more of the same and I'll be tuning em out and not spending any time, money or energy on them.
That's the best protest not dressing up like ICP
Protests are one thing, as long as the players aren't getting booed, that is negativity at it's worst. Always hate that.

They selling these at the stadium now?

that is funny
Baalke must be fired because of his performance as the Jaguars GM.

I disagree. Fans not turning up just gets criticism of the fans and jokes about how it's business as usual (because, you know, jaguars fans are famous for not showing up, and have been for ages despite that being completely untrue).
Whereas threatening to dress as clowns and filling Twitter with clown avatars has made the fans' complaints headline news and seen it reported fairly accurately.
And court cases to drop sponsorship probably hurt the bottom line more than a few fans choosing not to turn up for games they've already paid for.
The best way to protest is not giving the NFL the time nor money, that's all they're after.
I'm at the stadium. Very few clowns so far.

Did you see the banner fly over?
I was walking around the Bud Zone and haven't seen any yet.
Edit: I spoke too soon.
I think you will see more trees noses than full on clowns.

I saw one earlier but I couldn't read it.
