I predicted it earlier, but I can't find any evidence that he has done it as of now.  Do you have a link?

Those rules include that you have to play a minimum number of tournaments, and you have to apply for permission to play a non-PGA Tour event.  The LIV players want to be able to cherry-pick PGA Tour tournaments to play in, and they want to play LIV events without getting permission from the PGA Tour.

No one is excluding them from the PGA Tour.  They are free to play the PGA Tour, as long as they qualify, and as long as they abide by the rules of the PGA Tour.

You can't make anti-competative rules and when you re-read what you wrote, the anti-competative rules stick out like the proverbial.

Please explain.
"LIV Golf CEO and commissioner Greg Norman has maintained that as independent contractors, golfers should have the right to play when they want, outside of the PGA Tour and vowed to back them in court proceedings."

"“I believe players have the right to play when and where they choose so their talents can take them as far and high as possible,’’ Norman said in a statement Monday."

...which raises an interesting question: is anyone free to join the LIV Tour?

Still just a rumor from a pro golfer who says his info was not directly from Smith's camp.

Quote:Percy doesn’t back down from locker room talk that Smith, who has won three PGA Tour events already this year, Leishman and other golf stars such as Hideki Matsuyama could join the rival tour. But he did confirm none of this information came directly from Smith and Leishman’s camp.

“Look, I was just conveying what was said in the locker room during the many rain delays we’ve had on tour the past few weeks,” Percy told Australian Golf Digest over the phone.

If those guys join LIV, it would probably be after the Fedex Cup Playoffs.
Here's some analysis from the Golf Channel.

One interesting thing to note is that apparently the "signing bonuses" in at least some of the contracts were actually advances on future earnings. So if a player who had received a signing bonus won some money, he would not get paid, but the money he won would be offset against his signing bonus until he won more money than his signing bonus.

If they go forward with this lawsuit, the details of these contracts will come out in discovery.

A blurb on that ^ here:

Scottie Scheffler walks across Cam Smith’s putt line. Did he do it on purpose? If so, it’s a punk move.

Wow.

Seemed intentional and petty.

Yes and yes.
In 10 or so years, the Billy Horshel's of the golf world are going to look back at their major-less careers and lament why they didn't take the huge payday when they still had above average talent to offer. IMO.
Scottie sending a message. Love it.
In a few days, Smith will be able to buy Scottie and his whole family, 5 times over.

Here's one opinion.  The writer suggests it was probably unintentional, since they appeared to be quite friendly during the round.

I would also point out, just because he walked in front of Smith, that doesn't mean he walked across his line.  If he walked in front of Smith but behind where Smith's ball was marked, no harm done.

Scottie high fived him a few holes earlier when Cam holed out, so I think it's a bit of a media beat up

That’s possible. I don’t recall it ever happening in all the golf I’ve ever watched, though. It’s a fairly significant breach of etiquette. Has anyone asked Scheffler or Smith about it?
