Hes not going to miraculously go from being awful to good overnight. If lawrence is to take that step and become a top tier qb id expect it to be closer to week 5 or 6.. onces hes adjusted to the new scheme and wrs.

But hey, im just hating as im sure someone will point out.. and when it happens exactly as iv said this post will be ignored
Oh no.....

Hahahah Sorry! I had to!

I get it now...

For what it's worth, I had us winning 5 games.... This season has been nothing but sunshine and roses, baby! (We ignore the month of October)

Some good predictions in this thread lol.

I am predicting a floor of 6 wins, and a ceiling of 9.

Hey, I was right!   Right now, our floor is 6 wins, and our ceiling is 9.

Still within reach.
(09-02-2022, 10:11 AM)Jaguarmeister Wrote: [ -> ]The more I look at the schedule, the more I see how favorable it is for us.  The Chargers, Eagles and Chiefs are for me probably the most difficult match ups and all 3 are away games.  Chargers and Eagles are both within the first 4 weeks of the season and I expect them both to be super bowl contenders.  If we can knock off the commies and clots in weeks 1 and 2, that will bode very well for us even if we lose the next 2.

Although I expect the chiefs to take a step back and maybe miss the playoffs because of how good their division has gotten, they’re still a good team and it’s at Arrowhead.  I think every other game on the schedule is very winnable barring catastrophic injury.  Not to disrespect any of our non-division opponents but many of the questionable ones like the Giants, Raiders, and Cowboys at least we’re getting them at home.  And the Broncos is at Wembly which we’re traveling a shorter distance to get to and is somewhat of a “home” game.

I think the floor is 7 games barring absolute catastrophe and if we are fortunate with injury and the way the ball bounces, could be as high as 12.  Probably wind up with 8 or 9 wins though.

I still like my prediction on the overall win/loss column.  I don’t feel so strongly about the chargers anymore though, but who knows, maybe they pull it together when it counts and make a run.

I think when it’s all said and done we will have been a few plays on the season away from the upper end of my predicted win range.  So many one score games we weren’t necessarily beaten in but rather gave the game away.

Regardless of how this plays out from here.  This has been a rewarding season as a fan.
Predicted 5-6, hoping for 8-9.
Yes Free pizza comeing my way.
I'm guessing no one was predicting 13 wins and ending on a 9 game winning streak.

Lots of us have been saying this for a while now.
Sadly I wasn't there for the 96 run. Was too busy trying to understand why my team was leaving, resulting in me quitting the NFL at the time.
We have some extra time here now to enjoy the holiday and extra prep for Houston and Tennessee. We look like we want to be in the playoffs, everyone is going to have to give a little more. Lets complete the comeback and win the division and be that team no one wants to see in the playoffs.

I remember when the Jags played the Oilers in the Astrodome, and the Oiler fans knew the team was leaving, so no one went to the game.  Mark Brunell said later that he had to lower his voice in the huddle so the Oilers' defense couldn't hear him.  When the camera scanned the stadium, some sections had like 1 person in them.

His mustache alone was HOF worthy
Ah this thread isn't the one we want. Wheres that 'bold predictions' thread. Jaguars did exceed my expectations prior to start of season tho.

The judges will accept your answer and your additional saltiness at Tennessee is welcome and appreciated.
