We need to use intimidation tactics. When our D lines up for the first time, Travon Walker should look at Herbert, clap his hands loudly and say, “Hoooo-weee! I’m hongry for some ribs!”
Can’t get behind. Need to stay in the game and make that one or two plays at the end.

If we get behind its over.

I agree, they should also use alka-selters tabs to foam at the mouth like in Little Giants.
We need Etienne to come alive in the running and screen game and bust a long one or two to keep the d line off of Trevor.

Lol 1010 xl calling for the jags to go after his ribs.

We need lots designed rollouts with the bolts pass rush. Screen passes. Cmon jawaan get in front on those.
Need to establish the run to keep their pass rush at bay.
Follow that up with well timed screens, and we may move the ball. Gotta run successfully fairly early though.

Biggest key to victory right there.

Next will be our secondary covering a better QB and receivers.
They benefitted GREATLY from our pass rush vs Indy. Might not be as fortunate out west.
Lloyd is going to have an opportunity in this game to live or die by his instincts.

Herbert is quick and can move for a big QB. His ball placement can be on the money as well in small windows.

Ekeler is also a mismatch for a lot of defenders. Runs more physical than you would think but he's also quick and twitchy and will make you miss.

Going to be a fun game for him in particular. I could see Lombardi trying to test him early just to see if he'll actually need to adjust early.

This game should give us a very good early look at how our team stacks up against one of the more top end teams in the league.

Cam and Taylor are going to have their hands full with Bosa and Mack. Allen and Walker will have a tough match up against their LT Rashawn Slater as well. Will be a nice look at how young Walker looks going up against another young, but very good OT in Slater.

Campbell and Griffin will face tough match ups against Keenan Allen (if he plays) and Mike Williams.

Ekeler is always a huge screen threat. He had 9 receptions this past week. Can't let him gash us in the screen game.

It wont be as easy for us to dink and dunk this week, as it was against the colts (due to their Def scheme), but the game plan has to be similar. Gonna have to get the ball out of Trevor's hands fast and not give Bosa/Mack a chance to tee off on our OTs. Hopefully the run blocking will be a little better this week and they can really get JRob and ETN going. That'll be the easiest way to slow down the threat of Bosa/Mack.
The excitment grows. One game at a time. Let's go jags
We should have some more insight on Herbert and Allen's availability today after they practice
We're probably gonna get smoked if they have Allen and Herby. But any given Sunday and if we pull out this W I think we could have a legit chance at competing for a playoff spot.
I suspect though that we are closer to a team that can beat bad teams and will lose to the more playoff caliber teams.

Once Walker smashes a shoulder into those ribs on the first drive he might not be looking like his "normal self" anymore.

He's going to play, but he'll absolutely be in pain

Pretty much sums it up: tough match ups all across the board. I think we'll compete but this team can never do well on the west coast, it will come down to who has the ball last.

Chargers 26-24
It’s about time Etienne bust 1 loose. And we’re gonna need some turnovers on defense.

Football Gods at work.
18 road losses in a row. It's time to end that streak. By the way, it was nice to see the jags get a long segment on espn I just seen a few min ago. They were getting a lot of respect on it too. Here comes the bandwagon.
