Pro bowl is a popularity contest, so I don't even know what that means. He still has trouble tracking the ball in the air, I can recall at least one play against Indy where this bit him.

IIRC he went down late against the clots, glad that it wasn't anything serious. We need all hands on deck this weekend.
When someone says playing at a Pro Bowl level that means they are playing at a high level being the better players in the league are the ones that usually gets Pro Bowl votes.  You have never heard anyone say playing at a Pro Bowl level? Lol. He's been playing at a pretty high level in coverage and also against the run.  He has also been our best corner so far

I rewatched the all 22 of the colts game. He is still battling this issue. Trust me.

He isn't yet comfortable locating the ball in the air quickly enough when he has his back turned to the QB in coverage.

Yes, he's playing great. Yes, he has improved. Yes, I have confidence in him in general.

Will the better OC's we face tell their QB to throw it his way if his back is turned?
100%  Yes.
It could still be a problem when he's facing better talent.
He's going to need to really track the ball well this week or else Big Mike is going to win every 50/50 ball like he did last week.

Also, I'm pretty sure Griffin has been graded out better than Campbell this year so far.

I never said he is playing perfect or a finished product.
With that said I like him better against the bigger bodied WRs than the quick shifter ones.  Maybe he gives up a bunch of plays this week, we shall see

I'm not sure I can get on board with that one right now.  He gets stuck one on one with Williams, and I'm telling Williams to go deep and Herbert to toss 50-50 balls to him.  If Campbell doesn't do a better job finding the ball in flight than he has so far, they'll be more like 80-20 balls.
Hopefully the team can keep from sticking him on islands like that with plenty of over the top safety help.
Just went and looked up all the corners in the 1st couple rounds of the 2021 draft, Surtain, Horn, Farley, Newson, Stokes, Samuel Jr. Etc. Campbell is the highest ratrd right now out of all of them.

Their coverage results are pretty similar.

Griffin is allowing a 58% comp rate and about 50 yds so far.
(they didn't count one of McLaurins catches against him - but attributed it to Jenkins' or Cisco's responsibility it would appear)

Campbell is at  60% comp rate and 100 yds thanks to that one deep ball.

I don't trust fan voting to determine the standard of good play. As soon as fan vote was added into the equation, that stopped being an accolade in my book.

And yet I would trade Campbell for Surtain or Horn in a heartbeat. No slight to Campbell but both of those guys are a tier above.

A teir above as a prospect yes, but they haven't been in the NFL.  I would of taken either over him in the draft but after watching the way Campbell has improved in 1 year and seeing the way they have improved year 1 with better talent around them I wouldn't trade Tyson for either.  I believe Tyson also has just as much upside.

Well at least you know what it means now when a analysis or someone says one is playing at a Pro Bowl level.

And to think before today I was just a dumb [BLEEP].

I guess now I can consider myself a smart [BLEEP].
Let’s just play loose, disciplined ball. Any given Sunday.

I like what Campbell brings. His main flaws seem correctable. You can’t teach the speed and physicality he plays with.
Rumor (sorry if it is posted somewhere else) is Herbert is out! if he is Jags better win this game.

Line moved from 7.5 to 3.5 in the last few hours…..

Someone knows something.

Jags can’t go losing to Chase Daniels man.

Their injury list is significant. Even if a lot of the questionable guys play, they are gonna be gimpy and hopefully sloppy play helps bolster our turnover ratio
Hey guys....the Jags have a shot!!  Banana
Without Herbert we better win.
I want a real win, not some pitty win against Chase Daniels.

But at the end of the day, a W is still a W

If the Jags beat Chase Daniels, you won’t find anyone complaining. 2-1 heading into Philly?! Sign me up baby!

seriously.

It might be deceptive win, but it's still a win.
I said it before and I'll say it again, it's really amazing what these top level players are doing to get out of playing the Jags.

I may actually put RIBS on my gameday menu if Herbert doesn't play !!
Herbert is a great QB but they are still loaded even without him
