The backs and offensive line weren't really on the same page for the runs, especially with ETN. I'm not sure if it was scheme or execution.
Defense isn't being physical in the run game. The D has a TD in this game, hard to blame them we have to hold onto the stinkin ball.

Right. And considering all those factors why not just run the ball? We continue to run cutesy play calls and think we're the smartest play designers in the world. Just execute basic things and we win this game up 14-0. Like if they were ineffective and had to punt a lot sure I can live with that, I can't deal with the ineptness and shooting ourselves in the foot.
I agree with you. I posted to run the damn ball a couple series ago.

You still have to keep running it and maybe they can get it going. You can't go away from the run early in the 2nd quarter especially in weather like this
Couple of fumbles in the rain after that great start and starting to struggle against the run. Hopefully will regroup and come out better in the second half.
What an absolute 2nd quarter collapse. Hopefully they can shake it off during halftime because the Defense needs a big stop to start the 2nd half.

The only complaint I ever had of Pederson is that it seems that he slow to react to changes in what he expected…
