Outside of Walker's penalty the defense did enough to win you this game. If you cant score a TD? At home? In a game you're favored to win by 7.5 points? You [BLEEP] suck.

Im sorry but i dont give a rats [BLEEP] what any of you think of me i was right about his issues, i told all of you he makes poor decisions and has spotty accuracy and that he implodes when the games on his shoulders before he wore an nfl uniform. Yall wanna mock me or call me a hater? Idc iv probably watched more jaguar football than most of you. I love this team im just sick of having liabilities at the most important position. Lawrence has struggled with the most simple things an nfl qb has to do, he just threw a hail marry from the 45? And it got to the 25 and he was able to wind up and throw no excuse apparently he has a noodle arm too. Its a joke and im tired of watching it

No way you can make that pick with T law on the board. If you are avoiding the QB, you have to trade down. If you were able to trade down to get Pitts/Chase plus a bunch a picks, okay but I don't see how you would have done that. Bengals wanted Chase, would never trade out. Maybe Falcons do, but would be costly because they still had Ryan.

But then how long are you waiting for a QB? Right now there hasn't been young QB's show up by their 2nd year since the Herbert/Burrow class. Plus it looks like 2023 is a bad class. You can't wait forever, you have take a shot and hope you are right.

If not you end up like the Colts have, recycling have-beens.

You always take BPA, to take a QB just to take a QB for need is one of the biggest mistakes in all of sports.

You aren't paying a lot of attention to the 9ers then.  And I'll get my head out of my [BLEEP] after you're finished in there.

Jimmy G requires a good-to-great roster, a great running game, and great scheme to consistently win games.

Saying he is a below average starting quarterback doesn't mean that anyone think Lance is great. 49ers haven't really had a good back up QB there in a long while, but to be fair most teams do not.

I can guarantee I pay more attention than you.  You're a moron.

ooo...good one. Not sure I can recover from that blistering retort.

Tbh, you keep picking them(QB) until you have one. The closest one to having one since DG was Minshew, and DG had 1/2 ish solid years and Minshew even started a fade a bit at the end. This team has been void of consistent QB play since Mark B was running things. Lawrence can certainly turn it around but the fact he got outplayed and outperformed today by freaking Davis Mills of all people, should ring the alarm bell, even if its a feint ring at the moment.

I thought that most of the game. He wasn't really getting outplayed by Mills but you certainly couldn't tell who the 'generational' no.1 pick was and who the round 3 pick was. Also that was more an indictment of Trevor than Davis Mills.

Lets see the post where you wanted Chase or Pitts?  You lie, I asked you a couple weeks ago who you wanted and you said Lawrence.  Lmao,  comical
(10-09-2022, 04:29 PM)Caldrac Wrote: [ -> ]Yeah. He's not the guy. Last year? Fine. Urban Meyer. Blah, blah, blah. Got it.

This year? Look. He looked great against the Colts and Chargers.

But, the 5 turnovers last week and the 2 turnovers today? The one being in the endzone? That's got nothing to do with coaching this year.

Pederson, for the most part, he's putting Lawrence into positions to be successful and he's clearly [BLEEP] up in last week's game and today's game.

Question is whether or not Pederson starts changing his approach and starts going more and more towards Robinson and Etienne and less and less with Lawrence in momentmum shifting drives and critical downs.

He's [BLEEP] this team two weeks in a row.
Also. Garappollo and/or a late RD pick invested in a developmental guy may not hurt.

I agree with this. This ain’t on Doug Pederson. These last 2 games are squarely on the shoulders of the QB.

Defense has been playing good. Special Teams have been solid. Offense has struggled big time.

It better...

That's my only gripe with Pederson is that he's so hell-bent on throwing the ball especially when ETN and JRob have been incredibly effective in moving the ball for us.
Well, all the real fans need to be hoping Trevor figures it out real quick. The true negative haters are not really fans, but rather just trolls with time on their hands. Just ignore them, as they contribute nothing mature or substantive to the conversation.

This is why i said it was unavoidable. We desperately needed a qb and he at least had some
Potential. But like i said, he was deemed the best
Player by a land slide when that distinction belonged to kyle pitts, unfortunately tight end isnt as important.
What's a head-scratcher is that last week playing the iggles, at their house in the freaking rain....
this team scored more points than here at home on a gorgeous sunny day.  Wallbash
Why?
2-3 after 5 games. Still on track to win the 7 or 8 most expected this season.

I haven't attacked you at all. I haven't even disagreed with some of your assessment of Lawrence. I just think some of them have been taken too far to extremes.

I just don't understand why you continually beat your chest about "calling this one shot" when any other of choices that the Jags could have down would have turned out just as poorly -- drafting a different QB in that class, trading straight up for pitts/chase or drafting them no 1, going with has-been or just as poor underperforming QB's roaming the league right now.

We get it. You didn't like Lawrence and you are frustrated. We are all frustrated. But we have Lawrence for at least the next 1.5 seasons, and no matter how bad he has been there is still a chance of improvement.

Beating your chest about making that one cal on the board isn't the way to get over the frustration.

Not with this kind of QB play

Lawrence. That's why. You had 13. He throws a pick instead.

Just make sure to stay in your whole when he plays well.

It was always going to be an up and down season. Jags still need a playmaking X receiver (Zay ain’t it) and OLine help.

Today was a bad day for Lawrence in the offense but I’m all in. You’re not so feel free to leave at any point

Agreed. Maybe 6 at the most if Lawrence can get his [BLEEP] together or Pederson starts leaning more on the running game until he can trust Sunshine not to [BLEEP] turn it over.

This is what dont make any sense, I ask him a couple weeks ago who he would of taken when we too Trevor and he said Trevor.  So how is he beating his chest at anything.  He only beats his chest when Trevor plays bad yet he wanted to draft Trevor lol, when Trevor plays good he doesnt say [BLEEP] lol.  His post are weird and they go back and forth.  He wanted to draft Trevor so he is just as wrong as anyone if Trevor isnt the guy.  He never said [BLEEP] until he started playing bad, anyone can do that lmao
