Excuse me for being tired of wasting draft picks on bums like lawrence, bortles and gabbert. It gets old after 11 years
Who was it that you wanted us to when we drafted Trevor?
Today's the first time I've started to reconsider if Lawrence is the guy.

Failing to beat a winless garbage team like that at home is alarming.

Need to start running it more with Robinson and Etienne from more traditional formations.

Unfortunately not a strong QB class coming up neither in next year's draft so we're going to have to hope like hell Lawrence figures it out I guess.

Would be looking at a trade with San Francisco for Jimmy Garropollo next year or draft a QB like Stetson Bennett or Jordan Travis out of FSU late to develop.

Trading for Jimmy G might be the most [BLEEP] [BLEEP] take I have ever seen.  He is the only thing holding his team back.

LOL he's the only reason they can win at the moment. Do you honestly think Trey Lance was leading them to the SB?

Which guy did you want them draft there? None of the QB's in that class have shown they could be in the conversation for MVP or lead a team to the SB?

Just because Lawrence hasn't met the ridiculous pre-draft hype, doesn't mean you were right.

He wanted the serial rapist, Deshaun Watson where we would have given up a bevy of picks for us to basically start CJ Beathard while Watson sits on the bench.

Just like he, and others, didn't know about those assaults by Watson - the same logic applies where nobody will ever know how a player will pan out in the NFL at the end of the day.

Jimmy makes terrible decisions week in and week out.  He's good for [BLEEP] turnovers every week.  Pull your head out of your [BLEEP].
I'm not giving up on Trevor yet but Doug has to look in the mirror and we have to make some changes

Thank God we didn't draft him but who did he want when we drafted Trevor is the real question
This game was an eye opener. No getting around it. Scoring 6 pojnts at home against a winless team with a terrible red zone interception is bad enough that we should be thinking whether or not Trevor should have this job without real competition next year. He has 12 more games to show us something, but the past 2 games have been extremely disappointing.

It was unavoidable but if i was picking bpa and not based on need, pitts or chase

That would have been a terrible decision. They wanted heaps of picks, especially since they never would have traded him to a division rival without robbing the Jags. The whole Jags roster would have had no talent plus no cap room to get any. Jags would have become like the Texans in the last year he was healthy.
This game makes our 2 wins largely meaningless. A good team does not lose at home to a winless team .

Yeah if Tlaw, and the rest of them, keep playing like that we'll be picking top 3 (again) and a QB would be well in play if there's one you really like.

No way you can make that pick with T law on the board. If you are avoiding the QB, you have to trade down. If you were able to trade down to get Pitts/Chase plus a bunch a picks, okay but I don't see how you would have done that. Bengals wanted Chase, would never trade out. Maybe Falcons do, but would be costly because they still had Ryan.

But then how long are you waiting for a QB? Right now there hasn't been young QB's show up by their 2nd year since the Herbert/Burrow class. Plus it looks like 2023 is a bad class. You can't wait forever, you have take a shot and hope you are right.

If not you end up like the Colts have, recycling have-beens.
TL often starts games with overthrows and recently he has been able to settle down and play well, but not this game. Captain Overthrow is back.

I know there were some drops, but TL's bad passes and not seeing open players completely overshadow those few plays.

My main concern with him coming out of college was his inability to play well in tough contested games.

It seems like he hasn't overcome that.

You aren't paying a lot of attention to the 9ers then. And I'll get my head out of my [BLEEP] after you're finished in there.
Yeah. He's not the guy. Last year? Fine. Urban Meyer. Blah, blah, blah. Got it.

This year? Look. He looked great against the Colts and Chargers.

But, the 5 turnovers last week and the 2 turnovers today? The one being in the endzone? That's got nothing to do with coaching this year.

Pederson, for the most part, he's putting Lawrence into positions to be successful and he's clearly [BLEEP] up in last week's game and today's game.

Question is whether or not Pederson starts changing his approach and starts going more and more towards Robinson and Etienne and less and less with Lawrence in momentmum shifting drives and critical downs.

He's [BLEEP] this team two weeks in a row.
Also. Garappollo and/or a late RD pick invested in a developmental guy may not hurt.

Tbh, you keep picking them(QB) until you have one. The closest one to having one since DG was Minshew, and DG had 1/2 ish solid years and Minshew even started a fade a bit at the end. This team has been void of consistent QB play since Mark B was running things. Lawrence can certainly turn it around but the fact he got outplayed and outperformed today by freaking Davis Mills of all people, should ring the alarm bell, even if its a feint ring at the moment.
We started today tied for the division lead, and now we're 3rd. The tacks are division leaders. I am in hell.

Unavoidable? lmao, you always go BPA regardless.  Lets see a post where you stated you wanted Pitts or Chase. Hindsight 20/20 is comical

I can guarantee I pay more attention than you.  You're a moron.
Intesting to see if the gameplan shifts slightly
