The Real MVP
Not to get ahead of ourselves but next week the Titans play at Philly. This feels like the kind of game that the Titans figure out how to win. But if they somehow lose and we can pull off another win next week, we'll only be two games back. And then host the Titans the following week. I have next to zero belief that we can go on a late season run. We just dont have the elite talent needed. BUT... a big but.... if we start playing well, we can still control our destiny.

We play the Lions next Sunday, in Detroit. They give up a league high 28.2 points a game. The Ravens give up 20.6 points a game. Lawrence and Co. should have no troubles moving the football on them next weekend. It's absolutely a winnable game.

Going to overtime is also a huge gamble, and you still at some point either have to make a play to win the game or you lose the game.

I have no issues with Doug going for 2. Theyre 3-7 going into the game playing a playoff caliber team. Your young QB went downfield and showed he could do it. Go for OT or the win? This game should have done great things for TL and his confidence/whatever. I know watching that 2pt conversion, I wanted them to convert, but if they didn’t, I knew this team was on the right track. They pulled it off. Kudos to TL, Pederson and the rest of the team. There was a goal line situation earlier and the game thread [BLEEP] about the same ole plays. I could be wrong, but I like to think at 3-7 Doug called a similar play just so TL can learn and throw the ball away and take the three. I could be wrong, but would have been a great learning experience either way.
Edit. Not saying DP called a play to take 3 instead of 6. Just saying I feel he called it to teach TL to make the right play if it wasn’t there
What a game!! What a day!!! So we are now 4-7. Why does nostalgia tug at my mind about 4-7 eleven games in? Oh yeah. 1996. Coughlin had almost lost the locker room, then we won and were 4-7. Now lemme think, what happened then? Was it 5 more wins? Then the Buffalo game? Then Denver? Season ain't over by a long shot. Trust the process. We have a proven coach and a QB starting to rise. We were the miracle to get a franchise. The miracle of '96 and even '17 seemed magical. We are headed to December and meaningful games in front of us. Do YOU believe in magic? I don't, but I do believe in this team. Like my name says DTWD4∞ !!!!!
