The weather has me worried a bit, as well. The Philly game has sown a lingering concern.
Tough game, the first time they played the Jags got beat. This is a different team now, 44-33 Jags…two defensive scores and a safety. Why not?

That's something Caldwell could look at foundation wise to try and see where he could match up his personnel to effect Mahomes and Kelce. Make them work hard for the easy stuff. Fool them into thinking the hard stuff is actually easy and there for the taking.

Replicating what Tampa did will be tough.  That team had better pass rushers.  We'll need to get creative.  Especially with guys like Walker who have a propensity to run straight into the lineman.
I am sticking with:

Jaguars - 38
Chiefs - 35

I don't care how ugly it is. I don't care what the stat sheet says. I don't care about turnovers. Somehow, someway. Just some [BLEEP] way. I feel like we're going to pull this game out and win it. It could be late with a field goal or very well a TD that has to be scored if we're down 31 - 35. I just think we're going to win it.

I honestly feel the same. I don't know why because statistically it doesn't make sense. At all. I didn't get to watch the game earlier in the season so I have nothing to go on from that, but I know the Chiefs are no joke. I also know they can be beat.

If you bleed you can die. The Chiefs don't have a perfect record this season so they do indeed bleed which means they can be put down. Slice and dice; an arterial gushing wound; a venous puncture. I don't care.

We need to go Wolverine on them. The version from the movie Logan. No mercy.

He has literally proven over and over again that no one has been able to do that.
At all.
More so than any NFL quarterback.
I don't think the strategy here should be "but what if we actually do it"

The most success I've seen teams have is playing 2 deep safeties all game long, try and take away the deep pass and make them dink and dunk and hope you can jump a route or give them tough catches. Like you say, teams have thrown a lot of different ideas at them but no ones found a way that stops them.

Whoa. They’re calling for rain?

Trevor was a little off in the Jets game too….

Local forecast has it at 30% chance
.
Does anyone know when the vs chargers sounds of the game come out? I’m going to be sharing that with all my friends. Lol

Should be this evening.
The big key IMO is not giving up any easy scores. Trying to hit homeruns against Mahomes often results in huge plays for KC. Keep everything in front of you between the 20s, buckle down in the red zone, and make them kick FGs. Get a turnover and hold them to FGs and I love our chances. 30-23 Jags
chefs - 24
Jags - 7

At halftime.

Put me down for 31-20 chefs, I'll still be smilin at the end of the game. And cursing Kelce.

Think this one seems like the most likely outcome.
Ideally we would like to play a soft zone like a cover 2 or 3 and let the front 4 get pressure. If Allen and Walker can apply pressure without blitzing, we have a real shot. Double team Kelce whenever possible.
Jags 34
KC - 30

Yes.  This is the best move on D.  Slow the bleeding and hope for some turnovers along the way.  It doesn't have to be the front four only.  Zone blitzes make sense here as well if we disguise them.  But we need 7 guys in coverage.

Then on offense run some rollouts and reverses.  The interior offensive line is badly mismatched and we have to run away from that.
The best thing about this game is if we win, I’ll be elated. If we lose, I’ll not be terribly disappointed and still be damned proud.
Chiefs 40, jags 28.

I think we’re playing well but we are going against the “king”. We’ll be back next year and more locked and loaded in
