This could be like the old Saints backfield (Ingram/Kamara) or current Lions backfield (Gibbs/Montgomery).
Both players get meaningful snaps. Feel like they’re going to have a tough time keeping both ETN and Tank off the field.

I’d bet we see more of a ‘traditional’ Pederson offense where he rides the hot hand. Couldn’t really do that with Hasty as your backup.

I think he gets the proverbial redshirt year along with Vohask, before he is thrust into the two deep rotation.
I do like him as a developmental prospect in that he can play multiple positions along the defensive line.
DL starters are RRH, Hamilton and Fotukasi.
2nd teamers are Gotsis, Smoot (once he is ready and probably 1-2 spots between Ledbetter, Mondeaux, Dogbe, or Dixon.
I think that Carlos Dunlap is ultimately the player that gets signed by the team if he is still available after the beginning of the regular season.
Urban is gone now so I think it will all depend on how he plays on how much playing time he gets. If he is out there playing good and making plays he will get more and more playing time.
Shipley's "other notes" from day 11
Quote:Brenton Strange showed off grown-man strength on an early team rep target, catching the pass underneath before using a stiff arm to send Rayshawn Jenkins to the turf with authority.
Erick Hallett continues to stand out. He picked off Nathan Rourke on Monday for yet another interception in camp after drawing praise from defensive coordinator Mike Caldwell earlier in the day.
Jamal Agnew stayed down for several moments after getting hit on Monday, eventually walking slowly back to the sideline while holding his back. He appeared to be fine, however, and stayed on the practice field.
Yesterday it was Chris Claybrooks who got reps with the starting defense in Tyson Campbell's absence. Today, it was Montaric Brown.
Gerrit Prince has just had a terrific camp. He had a great touchdown grab over Daniel Thomas in goal-line drills today.
Outside linebacker DJ Coleman and offensive lineman Blake Hance got into it after a one-on-one, with Coleman being told by the staff to leave the drill. Roy Robertson-Harris showed great leadership, though, going to Coleman and talking to the younger defender to the side.
Parker Washington looked like the Jaguars' backup punt returner on Monday. He took all of the snaps behind Jamal Agnew during special teams periods.
Raymond Vohasek made several standout plays vs. the run, including a safety on Snoop Conner.
I've been on the Brenton Strange bandwagon since he was drafted. I see good things from him.
We still have a way to go as a fanbase. Pete Prisco was on the Jaguars Happy Hour radio show on 1010XL today (I highly recommend, great show) from Green Bay. He said 70,000 people showed up to pay $10 to watch the Packers practice. 70,000.

Thanks ! It appears they have collected a bunch of talent to choose from, but then we are competing against ourselves right now. We will know a bit more after our joint practice with the Lions.
Dewey getting in on the action.
Classic chaisson
Anything for Abdullah or parish?

Abdullah has pretty much been a non factor since the pads came on. Haven't really seen anything flash worthy as far as reports go about him. Hes got a good long ways to go.
Parish's best hope is Practice Squad at this point. He's entirely raw (learning a new position at FB) and was working with the TEs a bit.

Have they tried Parish at FB?

@How many of those didn't realize A. A. Ron is gone now?@
IIRC there is some rule too that if you charge people to attend practice, teams are allowed to attend and study. It's a big reason why most teams don't.
Not sure how much scouting teams need on Love, though, so a few extra seats for the fans, I guess.

Think it was Shipley who said (in nicer terms) that Parish has been the worst player on the field.
Cut the dude who’s not good enough to play a single position and sign Melvin Ingram
Allll the hype I keep hearing about Bigsby has me excited for this Saturday's contest with the Cowgirls. Will be awesome if he's a key contributor right off the bat to go along with Etienne in the backfield. Having a dynamic duo out of the backfield to account for knowing what we already have carrying over from last year in the passing and receiving game WITH Ridley is very, very fun for me as a fan.
I haven't been this excited about an offense in Jacksonville since the 1990's. This is shaping up to be a great looking offense for many years to come. We're finally getting away from the archaic landscape that plagued this team for nearly two decades. FINALLY!

I could go Saturday if I feel like it. Just not too sure about paying Cowboy prices for a preseason game.
