While this is true, great teams give you no hope especially against the bad ones. My excuses are - week 1 is a weird week, it is a road game, and a divisional road game at that. REGARDLESS, this team should be head and shoulders better than the colts. Should have been in hand from the 1st quarter.
If they would have did that 4 turnovers ago our backups would be getting reps by now...

The play calling was a huge issue

A lot of the OL issues were the stupid run calls and pulling the OL. They don't look good doing that and it takes reps to gel for those plays.

Doug walked over to Press and while looking him in the eye, slowly removed the play call sheet from his hands.
Again we used Trev's legs early and threw for a first down then we could run the ball.
