He had a few plays where he was wide open. When you have a lot of targets to feed, It will look lopsided each game.

Anyways, first game of the season. Division rival. Could have went any direction. Win is a win. Chiefs next week.

He made a mistake that led to that ETN TD,  but he is a tough player.  I compared him to Cam Newton last week and "y'all" laughed at me.
Walker has one more sack this season than Hutchinson.

Josh Allen with 3 today is pretty great.

6 tackles, 3 solo and a sack. I’ll take that every game.

Hutchinson got 4 tackles (3 solo) and two QB hits against KC. The difference being he was a consistent pressure in the backfield, flushing Mahomes to the other side and limiting his options. Walker can't penetrate like Hutchinson.

His accuracy is awful.  He's gonna have a rough go in the NFL.

Walker came up with a a sack, but Hutch was way more disruptive on Thursday than Walker was today

He also got to line up against Taylor.

Hutch was disruptive and game changing all night long, even though he didn't get a sack. While I am glad Travon got the sack, I can't think of one instance where I was like "Wow, Travon is really changing the game."
You don't need a sack to be a good and disruptive defensive lineman.. move the QB off his spot so he can't just set up and throw accurately down the field. We're going to get our shot at KC and see if we've improved in that department.

Let’s see how both Allen and Walker match up against Taylor next Sunday

Agree. He was more slippy than expected and made some good throws on the move. However, if he has any desire to stay in this league very long, he's going to have to suppress the urge to run.

Yep,  give me a game wrecker over a sack count any day.

I didn't say it, but definitely the thought crossed my mind.  He's singlehandedly the reason the game was in question into the 4th quarter.  That said, that pile move was a thing of beauty.

The clots were playing the whole game knowing that if they got down by two scores it was over.  They gave a valiant effort to prevent that from happening, but the talent difference between the two squads was evident.  Hope Scherff is ok.
Walker had a decent game.

Q: How many sacks did Allen have last year?

We'll just have to see is Kelce plays. Glad no Chris Jones. Kinks will be worked out before Sunday. Bank will be Jacked.

That would certainly be the fair measure. I hope he can do as well.

How are you down when you’re standing?

He’s made 2 crucial mistakes in this game.

It's called giving yourself up

Wow! What a worrisome game! But we escaped with the W. DUUVAAAAL!

Wasn't pretty but a win is a win. 1-0

Plenty of stuff to clean up this week. They're gonna have to play better next week to beat the Chiefs.

I actually though the same when it happened. Next time he will fall down I bet

I think that will be the offense all year. One big player production wise, a few key contributors and then a lull from one of the main guys.

The offensive line is shady like last year. All the more reason Doug should be calling the plays while Taylor helps instead of the other way around.
