Trevor's off but I don't think Doug should bench him. His confidence is already shaken, no reason to damage it any worse than it is currently.

In this game and if it were the Good Bortles, yeah.
Thank you for confirming your opinion is all emotion and zero actual facts.
If the players don't give a [BLEEP] then neither do I.

His throwing mechanics require him to be fully healthy and have a relatively clean pocket. He is not the same guy when he is hurt or has pressure up the middle. When he is hurt he compensates and does weird things that jack things up and cause him to mess up. Yes he can make some amazing throws when on the run, but it is pretty rare when he makes amazing plays with alternate arm angles, not stepping up, half arming, getting hit, off balance, etc.
Guys, it’s over. Our window closed yet again. Enjoy the holidays with family and friends.
Should've let Beathard earn his check and let Lawrence recover

Thank you.
I’m saying health wise, the dude is going through it

Who would you trade him for? Waiting.
This is such a stupid question. I didn't say I wanted to trade him. I said I didn't want to offer him a large contract unless he improved.

Well it is an opinion but it's informed by having seen both players play in their good times and their bad. I can't help that you have a hard time wrapping your head around it.

Lageman says at this point Trevor shouldn't get hit one more time for at least another week.

Who else can i blame when he over throws both wrs who were open under no pressure. Its 100%
The Ingram pick was a miscommunication. That ball is out before Ingram makes his turn. It is based on them both reading the coverage and play incorrectly. Without knowing their rules, I couldn't tell you who was truly at fault.
Also Trevor normally throws those balls "as ropes", instead of with a bit more touch and lift. He isn't the only one as that is the general trend around the NFL. Like Brees would have had more arc so even if there is miscommunication, it doesn't go as high and Engram has more chance to adjust. But that also has risk of the Safety closing on it and making a play.
My whole point is that nothing is black and white like you are making it out to be. You are just doing that because it easier for you to cope. I get why; but don't get mad at the other posters because you are not acknowledging the nuances of the situations.

I'm more worried for his health than his confidence, personally.

Yep. I'm listening to the game on the local radio station with Lageman, Boselli and Frangie.
I would love for someone to show me a QB that has over come the 30tn ranked oline, WRs who can't catch or run correct routes, a running back averaging 3.7 yards, a defense giving up 25+ points, and two injured legs.

Not surprising one bit.
Team is abysmal from top to bottom. Coaching AND players. Playcalling AND execution.
This is on
every player on the team - no if's, and's, or but's.

I get you and he looks really frustrated right now but I'm guessing Doug hopes he can have something positive.
ZERO rush yards LOLOLOLOL. Just run the ball better Trevor it's not hard...
So why do we have back up in on D?
NH3...
