The first two teams were not playoff teams. Cincy is a legit playoff team. We know were we stand, Green Bay is gonna wax the floor w/ the Jags... The Jags defense was horrible tonight, and we could not run the ball against a GOOD NFL team.

Despite my seemingly limitless optimism, this game was definitely worrisome for me. Yea it's only pre-season, and yea I do give some of you guys a hard time. But this is the year that I said it was time for Gus to put up or shut up and make it happen.

I don't think we're a playoff team yet. I think we're a similarly matched team like the Jets and the Bucs. Teams that will be right in the mix as far as wildcard spots go. I think we're a young team so there will be mistakes made. But there will also be a ton of good plays made as well. No we're not going to dominate teams, but that's OK.
basically we're going to have to outscore people... hard to do with poopy pass pro and run blocking

What's funny to me is that we have one of the most talented young rosters (on paper, imo) in the NFL. I'd love to see what Belichick or Mike Tomlin would do with this roster!

If they fire Gus at 11 o'clock tonight or if they sign him to a 20 year extension I wouldn't care either way. I'm just along for the ride. I've been rooting for the team for 20+ years now and still will be regardless. If it makes you feel better coming up with the latest ice cream joke or starting the umpteenth fire Gus/Joeckel/insert name here thread, feel free my friend.
