This many players from LSU shows something is probably wrong in the war room

OR...the LSU Pro day was knocked out the park.    Maybe?
No. The Jags weren't the only ones there. This isn't the case where they were the only ones to scout LSU.

Every team has people fall for certain players and push them hard. The good teams have things in place to make sure it doesn't happen as much.

The Jags GM side is already a mess, Baalke has shown he falls for players, so why would you doubt that this could happen?

Over/under?

I'll go under he doesnt have NFL length and baalke loves him some attributes.

Charles Turner however.

My buddy who is a Steelers fan doesn't love their draft.  Complaining all they are taking is OL.   Fans fan is the motto.  Or grass is always greener.

I look at the players not the positions.  Great value at every pick.  The Eagles have killed the draft as well

I've followed the Steelers for over 30 years.    This is indeed a good/great draft from them if you're only going by pre draft projections.    Won't know anything until the regular seasons starts though.   They filled a lot of needs.

I think the Jags did as well BTW.

Over/under on the Jags selecting a LSU walk-on in the 7th? Baalke is on board as long as he has long arms

As much as i hate to say it I love the Colts draft as well
A lot of talk about extra pass rush help. What about a Will LB? Somebody mentioned earlier Jeremiah Trotter. I know he is smallish at only 6' but he was a pretty good pass rusher no?
I like Matt Lee at Center. Could be there in RD6.

Since we're on the LSU train. Omar Speights at LB is a name to watch.

EDGE wise it's Nelson Ceasar out of Houston.

Mahogany still on the clock but obviously his pre draft non gm ranks are off as no one wants him compared to his pre draft ranking.
Would love to add Kamara or Washington
Van Pran gone
If Morse gets injured our season is toast once again
I expect to see Myles Cole out of Texas Tech to be drafted. He fits the Baalke's physical profile as an edge rusher. Long arms.

What about the Penn State C Nourzad?

Nourzad is going to be a starter somewhere in the league. He's a dog.
Beax Limmer would be a good pick here

First, I would remind people that Gipson failed to make his team's 53 man roster last year despite being on a rookie contract.  He then went to another team where he only had 1 sack over the course of a season.  However, let's put that aside for now.  Even if you are confident in Gipson, that's 1 backup edge.  You need at least 2 and preferably 3 on the 53 man roster.  Backup edge is still a big need.

Second, if you think a free agent would be better than a draft pick at this point, that's fine.  However, that's a value argument.  I was responding to someone who didn't think backup edge was a need.

Back up edge rush is a secondary need. They guys left in the draft after Isaac got drafted aren't better than Gipson or Abdullah that we already have. We're also changing schemes and i believe were going to run 425 as our base set which means that beef on the line is priority over lightweight pass rushers. I would've rather gotten a true defensive end like Oboigbe than an stand up edge like Muhammed Kamara.

Dude's a beast on the bench press Nourzad ranked considerably higher on some boards though

Dunno, just going off remaining player rankings but we DO need a better back up to Morse

I've been concerned about this since March 12th.
This 3rd day of the draft is way too long as usual
