Yeah - that's kind of what I've been saying.
They just need to get rid of the unforced errors.
That applies to execution and coaching decisions, but I feel the latter is far less of a problem than fans tend to surmise after a loss.

The first half of Doug's first season was a disaster, as well as the second half of his second season. We make the full consistency joke around here, but that's exactly what is needed to get past this stigma we seem to throw in front of ourselves. This needs to be the season to make it happen.
I'm going back to my usual ways of "I have a bad feeling about this game" because I tried to be confident in the season/team last week and it kicked me in the cajones. I hope the Jaguars don't get in their own way today and our defense feasts with the home crowd in full throat. Also, hopefully we block for Trevor. That being said, I don't expect a W. Wink wink.
I am going in with an even head. The Jaguars have disappointed me too often so I gave up having high expectations.
I hope they are a good team but will not get too upset if they lose.
Bad offenses historically find their way (sometimes only momentarily) when playing the Jags. Hopefully we turn that trend around today.
There will be 2 picks and 2 sacks minimum from the defense today.
Maason smith inactive is very surprising to me
PS. If anyone has a link for out-of-towners send me a pm.
Disappointing to see our 2nd RD selection and pair of 4th RD selections inactive today.

Jags have to win today. if jags lose to browns we will be starting the season 0-4. Jags lose more on primetime tv now then they win it seems. Texans are just to good to get beat espaissley with all they added.

Why? It's good that veterans are ahead of them on the chart. Too many years we had to have rookies come in and play immediately, not having that problem is a good sign.

I can understand the 4th round picks, but, would like to see a 2nd round pick out there in the rotation. We'll see. It's not a make or break thing by any means.
Van Lanen and Savage are honestly the most hurtful to probably have inactive today for depth and starting experience for sure.

Watson is a shell of himself and should be good for 2 TO's and some head scratching decisions. Brows D could be problematic though. I'm thinking 20-7 or so. Hoping for an offensive explosion, but a win will do.

Maason Smith (2nd rounder) is certainly disappointing (I'm assuming it's not because of injury), just to get some snaps under his belt. If he hasn't competed well enough to earn a backup spot, it's not a good sign for him to make an impact this year.
Strange needs to step up then. 2nd RD pick last year. Get it done.

Engram is out now. I keep having this feeling their going to let Garret go off and do nothing against 2 backup tackles themselves.
I mean engram had what one target last week?
Ugh. Looking still like browns about to take us to school. Something just seems so pessimistic about this team now

We talked about this after the draft and in camp, he was drafted as a young project guy. It's not surprising that he's not ready yet.
