Why is Caleb Williams better than our $55m franchise quarterback?

How is that CB supposed to cover both those receivers? This defense doesn't make any sense. It's a zone of some kind, but it just seems so easy to exploit.

If I counted right, Jags ran 6 offensive plays in the 2nd quarter. Longest play was a 5 yard run. Longest pass completion has gone for a whopping 2 yards..... Against a defense missing half of its starting secondary. Pathetic.

Dammit. No containing, no coverage, broken tackles. It's just horrible football all over from this D.

Got one half to save any hope for this season but I can't believe how bad this D is.

The defense is schemed to intentionally lose.

The defense doesn't cover anyone. Even when it looks like they're near someone and "in coverage" they're not.

I wish we got to play against a Baalke drafted defense.

Coaching matters. Williams is throwing into windows where there’s no defender within 10 yards

He’s the most overhyped prospect in forever and he got lucky he got the panthers and jags in consecutive weeks.

Exactly this. Jags have not had a pass play go beyond the first down market since the middle of the 1st quarter.... They have relied on screens for some reason.
