Public bathrooms get rehabbed regularly, and the code for them also changes regularly. The building owner bears this cost and it's peanuts in the grand scheme of things.

The mentality you're arguing is the type that argued, 'slave owner rights matter as much or more than the slaves' rights, there were a majority of white people and you can't infringe on their rights for the rights of the minority'. Every case of one group discriminating against another could talk about the importance of the rights of those discriminating to defend it. They tried that with 'defense of marriage' arguments to ban gay marriage. It's disgusting bigotry.

Most bathrooms aren’t lines out the door busy. The number of times I’ve been the only person in there has been too many to count. So now you have a secluded area equally accessible to men and woman with private, little locked rooms with no easy way of escape. Does that sound comforting to you for your wife or daughter? You men don’t have to think about stuff like this, but to women we have to do security assessment multiple times a day just going about our lives. Bet you’ve never thought twice about parking next to a van or panel truck…ask your wife if she has. Women have enough potential minefields we have to deal with on the daily, why is society okay with increasing our lack of safety for a few mentally misguided individuals?

I believe the Bucks county just tried ignoring the law. So everyone decides what to do. They then live with the outcome of those decisions. So have at it.

My wife is 4'9 and can easily be overpowered by an individual.. Got her a Sig Sauer p238 a few years ago. She's never had to actually use it though, Thank God, but not taking the chance in today's society..

Men dressing up as women has been around since the beginning of time but this crazy [BLEEP] about using the women's bathroom has gotten out of hand. The only benefit I can see to such TGs or cross dressers is that the women's stalls tend to be cleaner and they can do make-up with the company of other women. That said, I like how some bathrooms are constructed internationally, as they have segregated toilets but a common sink area where women and men wash their hands (and do make-up if that's your thing).
Personally, I'm too old to really give a [BLEEP] and my daughter is 24 years old but if I had a daughter under 17, I'm sure that it would matter a lot more to me ..... especially as it applies to very young elementary school kids as you don't know what the hell is in the next bathroom stall.
