Hopefully Jags pull an upset today. First home game we’ll be attending this year. Make it a good one fellas.

Clearly a lot of excitement about this week’s game, lol.
Here’s your chance to shine in front of the hometown crowd, Mac Jones.

I think a certain segment of this board will be begging for Trev to play next week after this one. I bet we even see Beathard before its over.
I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Mac has some decent play today. He’s not on film yet in our system, as woeful as it might be. Vikings will probably adjust.
Personally I am torn. I want the guys to play hard every game even though they are clearly not in the playoffs. The other part of me doesn't want Doug and Press giving Trevor the Carson Wentz treatment.

Take a high draft pick with a ton of skills. A really nice guy who tries his best to do as the coach asks. Unfortunately for the kid is it leads to him getting hurt and eventually becoming a non factor in the NFL.

Exactly why today will be a W. I can feel it.

As long as I'm making up things I  might as well make Ronald Darby Player of the Week.

There you  have it. It's going to happen.
I live in Minnesota, so I end up seeing a lot of Vikings games, because if they are both playing at the same time, I have to wait until the Jags game is over to be able to watch it on NFL+. Most of the time, the Jags game isn't shown on TV in our area. Having said that, I'm not too hopeful about our chances this week. The Vikings match up very well against us. Their passing game is very good, and will probably crush our pass defense. Then, when you add in all of our team's injuries, I just don't see us keeping up with them on the score board.

I'd like to see Trevor rest this week, because our season is over anyway. While I am in no way saying we should tank, it just seems like we might as well take our lumps from here on out and get a better draft pick. Hate to say it, but it's probably not going to be close.

Vikings - 34
Jaguars - 13

Heading over to watch the game with some friends. I doubt how much of the game we'll be watching. But who knows, maybe Mac will turn into Nick Foles? LOL

Yup. Same.

What a mess of a season
As unlikely as it is I just hope that the Jaguars can keep it reasonably close and avoid another embarrassing blowout.
I’m at home waiting for the game to start because I gave away my tickets for today. My wife and I deemed it wasn’t worth the hassle and I know we can’t be the only ones.

That’s significant because it translates into poor season ticket sales for next season. Unless Khan completely cleans house and brings in a reputable staff, I don’t foresee us renewing. Again, I know we can’t be the only ones who think this way.
We are going to moving to Bears country next spring. This game might be the last we attend in person (I was a season ticket holder from 95 to 21). Hopefully the Jags can send us off with a win (even though it’s meaningless at this point).

PS: lots of Viking fans in the parking lot.

Will you become a Bears fan?

Nevah! Although most of the family back home is. I was always a black sheep though being a Cowboys fan pre-Jags.

Back to long, cold Chicago winters. Are you ready?
